I havent gone to bed, decided to wait for Mr Pinot to get home from Bristol where he has been working today. ETA approx 12am apparently.

Where do I start ? How embarrassing to be behind on my own diary ? I am trying to remember what has been mentioned since I last posted properly, so here goes, if my memory serves me correctly !!! Far too lazy to read back this evening !! If I have forgotten anyone, I'm sorry :o

1 - I think I will go back to my monetary panic last week that was eventually resolved re the budget !! The culprit for the books not adding up was the Loan. It is a Business Loan ( sort of, story behind that one, which I think I have sort of skimmed over before, the full extent of which may become apparent one day I'm sure ! ) Unfortunately this in our names and not the business , although all the debts are the business, well the old one ( it gets confusing this story !!) Anyway its not in the DMP. We are still paying it in full and there is still interest, lots of reasons for this but it is what we have been advised to do. This isnt paid out of the money that the Business pays us each month(ie our salary) , but in addition to this. Therefore being daft that day, and high on my lovely prescription drugs, I had included the loan amount into our monthly budget, sending it sky high and way over budget. Are you still with me ??!! If this all makes sense, at least I know what it was , but I still need to deal with the increase in the mortgage etc. The Grocery budget has been going well though, so I think I can swallow the additional mortgage payments up in that. Whew, so thats point number one out of the way, if anyone can follow that description ! :p

    2. Pooh and Simply Health, that sounds interesting and I will put on my list for tomorrow. I am wondering if they will touch me though with existing back issues. We have come across this many times in t he past, but I must also urgently look into the monthly / yearly prescription fee many of you have mentioned. I took another prescription to the chemist on Monday, "you only have 10 tablets " said the Phjarmacist " Yes I know was my reply, and its cost me £7.65 AGAIN. " They come in a box of 26, why arent they giving you those, she asked ? I was close to suggesting she call the doctor and ask the question, seen as this latest prescription has taken me to 30 of the same tablet and that alone has cost £22.95. without the cost of the rest .Am I whinging ever so slightly ??!!

3 . Piq and her Sparkly demands. As I am dishing out jobs left right and centre for our virtual lap dancing money making scheme, I hereby enlist Mrs NRA and her newfound talents for sewing Piqs strategically placed sequins on her costume. For you Mrs DFW, I nominate Kerri to mend your holey Knickers !!! If anyone else out there has any special skills that they feel will lend a hand to our efforts speak now or forever hold your peace !!!

4 . My Bed - Yes it is BIG, its HUGE infact and Mr Pinot often loses me in amongst the cushions ! Actually having slight OCD tendancies, I insist they are placed neatly in a very special order on the floor before attempting climbing into bed . I have mentioned it somewhere, possibly over on Kerris diary ( if it was my diary apologies for repeating myself) , but Mr Pinot made our bed . I had spotted a very expensive one from a posh store which Mr Pinot insisted he could make, so off he trundled, camera and notebook in hand. Took photos, measurements etc and got busy making a ginourmous bed. My brief (not briefs Piq before you comment !!!) was that it needed to be big enough for us all to pile in on a Sunday morning and watch a movie in bed, even as the children got bigger and bigger !! Well he surely did that with room to spare !!! The only problem is since he made it he rarely affords time off on a Sunday !! :rotfl:

    5. NRA - Crochet !! You need to take a look at the fab round crochet cushion on the Dunelm Mill website. My mum made crochet blankets out of different coloured squares for our camping trips. We have one each, even Mr Pinot !! ( She loves him more than me !! :rotfl:) but when I spotted these on Dunelm Mill I put in a special request for some just like it ! I am still waiting, must remind her !!!

    6. All the comments about backs !! I'm sorry to hear many of you or your OH's are suffering with bad backs and other illnesses and ailments and wish you all well. I have had Nerve Root Blocks, Epidurals, Bilateral something or others and Facet Joint Injections. Some of which have been combined. The Bilateral something combined with the Nerve Root Blocks were last done in Dec 2010 in my lower back and have worked. I believe they can last up to 9 years. I had them done before and they didnt work, but last time thankgoodness they did. I still have odd twinges and sometimes lots of pain and discomfort which lasts for a short amount of time. By the end of the day it aches but is most definitely bearable. From what I understand it is a case of the surgeon pin pointing quite literally the exact place the needles should be put. If he strikes gold you should get some relief. One week after these were done they also tried another procedure, the name of which escapes me, but this was for the sciatic pain. This was basically burning the nerves. By doing so ,the object was that with no nerves, there would be no pain. OMG it was amazing. The procedure was pretty nasty but I have felt better than ever, until January this year when the nerves grew back and I am now in a slight tizzy to say the least !!! I'm probably burbling but if any of this helps anybody reading or someone they know then its worth my burbles. The op has been mentioned to me, I am unsure about it. I have done alot of research and obviously everyone is different. At the moment the combination of meds I am on are far too many for me too be taking in my opinion and an Op seems preferable but is a huge risk. I have read alot about a Mr Knight who follows a slightly different back op procedure with amazing results, although from what I gather it is only done privately. I am in the process of trying to find out more. So thats the sort of history on my back. Dangers, lovely to see you back and so sorry to hear about your OH and yours Lucielle . I hope something is sorted for them and soon. Oh and the Epidural, total waste of time and I have never been the right since, so runaway if its offered !!!

Hmmmm what else before I manage to fill a whole page of my own diary all about myself !! It's really not all about me honest !!!

Oh, I went to the gym !! On Saturday, I took DD2 and a friend of hers who is a member. DD1 was out shopping and busy having her photo taken with semi naked men posing outside a new Gilly Hicks store opening nearby sometime soon !! Apparently their advertising worked as everyone is talking about it !!! Anyway I digress. I managed 40 laps of the pool, I was so pleased with myself. Inductions were then booked in the Gym itself for myself and Mr Pinot who has a few health issues and as mentioned before is trying to lose weight. He has been banned from wearing the mankini to the Gym ( he did though take himself off on a bike ride on Sunday morning and surprised my parents with a visit in full get up !!! ) , so rocked up in his ancient sweaty rugby gear this time for the gym, another story in itself, to the horror of the personal trainers I'm sure !!

Sunday, we had friends over for a Mexican Night. Mr Pinot took Sunday and Monday off of work, as we desperately needed to spend time together . We had a wonderful night, and despite the meds I managed a few Margheritas ( it was Mexican night afer all, and I couldnt say no !!?) Thankfully all ingrediants were lurking in the cupboard and went down a treat, as did the food , all eaten with a dusty old soundtrack from the Antonio Banderoas film Desperado ( a few years old now that one)playing in the background to add tot he atmosphere. Even the infamous birthday pressie lemon juicer wore a mini mexican hat for the squeezing of the lime s!!! After falling into bed at 4am, we ate bacon butties before our guests departed Monday and headed for our gym inductions. There wasnt much I could do in terms of the machines but I saw a Personal Trainer, back specialist and had half hour with a pysio all thorwn into the monthly cost. So we came up with a very gentle programme to try and help strengthen the back, sciatic area ( buttocks to be exact !!) We all had a swim, steam and sauna an returned home to eat leftover Mexican food Monday night. So all in despite still oohing and aahing with pain and being slightly high as a kite I really enjoyed the weekend !!

Tuesday, girls back at school and work again. Couple more calls from new clients and notification that the Company owing us lots of money has agreed to pay someone else up front for their services later in the year for a big event they are staging. Therefore the news I had heard, that they had received a cash injection appears to be true. IF they can pay them, they can pay us, but unsurprisingly the postbox remains very silent as does the phone with a response from them !! They have until Friday to respond then we have threatened them with proceedings. Not quite sure where the money will come from for that, but I will work something out !!

Oh and we sold 11 items on ebay over the weekend, another £83 in ebay pot and this evening another item for £10. I have four other things currently listed !!! :T

What else ??? This is meant to be about debt freedom, money making etc not all about me , there must be something MSE I can add !! Signature updated, mentioned that though, oh, I ordered some Fuschias for the pots in the garden for 10p as per Martins email with 12.5% cashback through Top Cashback and also noticed another £50 heading our way from Quidco. We have been paid cashback for 3 items, ordered but then cancelled, should I own up ??!!!! :D

Mr Pinot has booked his car into the garage as its makign a funny noise, a bearing type noise I think he said. So that doesnt sound good. My car is making a ticking noise as though there is a bomb under the bonnet  Oh and some little bu**er keyed my car the other day whilst parked outside the hosue I think. Grrr !!!

Ok, before I carry on typing and never stopping I'm going now. I am taking Piqs blogs to bed to read as I havent caught up with them for a few days and Gargraves Book . Who needs to pay to download books or buy them when I have all the entertainment I need on these diaries !!??

I really do hope everyone is well and plodding along and sorry for not catching upwith everyone. Give me a few days and I will. Hello to you all !!!

Oh and Grannyx2, if you ever make it from 25th January to this point , I raise a toast to you !!!

Warned you it would be a long one !!!! :rotfl:

Piq, I'm going to be making my knickers pattern in different sizes soon if you wish I shall send it to you so you can make your own knickers from very cheap offcuts of lovely lace fabric that costs about 50p in the odd bins :)

Wow that's one update. My car was making a ticking noise and it needed loads of oil. We were so lucky I didn't blow the ruddy engine up.

Now that's what I call an update! Better than having the papers to read in the morning. Not that's any reason for you not to be around!

Love the idea of the juicer wearing a mexican hat, very cute.

You definitely need to look into prescription charges as soon as you get the time, Pooh has given you some excellent advice.

I don't know what to suggest for your back, ultimately any decision has to yours, not easy when you have so much pain.

I'll catch up more later, have to take the cat to the vet.

    Great update.

I love the sound of your Mexican night. So great to have friends over.

I'm also really pleased you managed to get some sensible advice at the gym about gradually strengthening your back. I think physics are worth their weight in gold!

Great going will the eBay selling, too.
