Ok i have done the lightscribe thing hope ive done it right and all the google things thankyou. How would i move the C stuff into the D, and how would i know which are safe to move and not? Thankyou for your help so far,
You can just create new Pictures and Documents folders and then Cut and Paste the contents from inside your Pictures and Documents folders residing on your C: drive, to their namesakes on the
drive.
As aforementioned; WinDirStat gives you a graphical representation of what is residing on your hard drive. Which can assist you in deciding what to move.0 -
Hi thanks I downloaded and ran WinDirStat, no idea what it all means or what to do now ?0

Perhaps it will just be better to create new Documents and Pictures folders on the
drive and then to cut and paste the contents of those folders to the new location. Once the files have been transferred, you can delete the contents of the corresponding folders on the C: drive. 0 -
thanks but as far as I know my documents and pics are in D and any new ones automatically save to D I think? totally lost with it all, the last couple of days its worse really slow and keeps closing pages saying internet explorer isnt responding, also occasionally when starting up keeps saying no bootable disk found? when I turn off and on again it loads up ok?0

Probably what is eating a lot of your C: drive is old restore points, vista is a s0d for it. Follow the advice on this post and report back how much disk space you regain....
