o2 priority moments freebies and offers (**updated**)

Can I just ask:

The Tuesday Nero offer. I don't often get to claim this offer and this week was the first time I'd claimed it in about a month.
However, unlike before I had the barrista tell me that I couldn't have decaf and I couldn't have soya milk with my voucher because these were extras.

I didn't know they'd changed the rules- last time I remember ordering a decaf soya latte with syrup. This time I was only allowed to get an Americano with normal milk or black.
I argued and got at least the soya milk addition for free but didn't know if that was the barrista was just fed up with discussing and wanted me out of the way or if she didn't know what was/wasn't allowed.

Anyone had anything similar or know if the rules did change?

Not exactly the same, but I did once get an extremely stroppy barrista who made such a fuss about using the code that it disappeared before he could use it. Demanded payment for the coffees as a result, so we refused and left them there.

The outcome was a complaint - and some vouchers for free coffees.

Why they behave like this, God knows - hacking off potential customers is a bit like shooting yourself in the foot.

I get mine every Tue. I believe but cant check as its not showing on my phone at the mo that you can get You can get a free regular Tea, Espresso, Cafe Latte, Cappuccino, Americano
or Hot chocolate


I drink flat white, apparently I cant get those so I get a Latte in small cup. This Tue they said that decaff wasn't in the offer either. I offered to pay the extra 10p they couldn't work it out on the till so after much huffing and puffing they sold me to "just have it"


I work in London, there are lots of coffee shops locally so there is stiff competition. Eat have been running a promotion where you send a promotional postcard to a friend and they get a free coffee. The service in eat is great, and they were happy for me to order what ever coffee I would like.


After this free coffee thing is over I wont be going back to Nero

Why? They were garbage or at least they were in newcastle.
Phoned up twice mentioning the offer "sorry were full" was going shopping one day so decided just to pull in ask if they had space, yep, asked me to pull up, take anythign out of the car I needed, went to give them the keys, mentioning the code at the same time....
