You can delay topping up and still get the offers. You only need an 02 sim to download the App or check the online offers.

no top up needed but the sim expires eventually

its supposed to expire after 6 months but Ive found somethimes they can last a year or more

when it expires you can just order another one

I don't even have the sim card in my phone (smartphone - if you're not using the web/SMS route to get the offers).

I only ordered the sim, plugged it into any phone, download the app, input the o2 number, get the verification text to the o2 number and enter into app, throw away sim. There is no expiry if you do this?

the sim will expire eventually

also I have found that the app sometimes asks for further reverification so if you have thrown the sim away you cant do this

I got the Collins dictionary today - they were behind the counter in a box. This will be really handy as I work in education - its a good sized book too not one of the mini ones.

Interesting to note, I've had the o2 app since I've bought my new phone (this was back in Xmas 2012) and it's still going strong. I must be really lucky No idea where my sim is now

There is currently a big saving of over 50% on the cost of a £95 gift card for Cafe Nero on the O2 priority moments app. I know there is a seperate thread for deals on the O2 app, but thought this big saving for people who do buy coffee out was worth mentioning to the wider group valid 01/09/14-22/09/14.
