MSE News: Supermarkets cut petrol prices
Comments
-
Tesco are the biggest con artists out there.
Yesterday ASDA Eastbourne 128.7p (unleaded) Tesco 132.9p. They said in a press release they will be taking up to 2p a litre off, clearly not in Eastbourne.
For the biggest supermarket who bang on about their big price drop and giving customers what they want, how can they justify a difference of 4.2p? Even Esso are 2p cheaper.0 -
This is the discussion thread for the following MSE News Story:
"Supermarkets are reducing the price of petrol, in one case to its lowest level since February
Someone I know has just passed the local Asda
Diesel is 137.9
Petrolprices says it was 136.7 there yesterday.
edit: today Petrolprices says 137.7 yesterday; perhaps my acquaintance misread the last 7; anyway the main point is they increased the price
The local TV mentions a services by a motorway where diesel is 149.9
So much for price drops. Please stop unthinkingly parroting press releases0
