Best way around this... contract
Basically I am on my fifth replacement BB Torch from Orange, and now I'm having issues with this one.
They said next time I have a problem they'd look into changing it to a brand new handset as opposed to a refurb.
I have been thinking about getting the new one and selling it on eBay.. Then putting some money towards and buying an iPhone 4S sim-free from Apple and keeping my current contract.
But only thing is, would they switch my internet from BiS to a iPhone compatible one, without changing my price plan completely? My friend said he went from a HTC to a BB and they changed his internet to BiS with no problems, he just had to pay the price difference, which was about 30p a month. I do believe what he says, but unsure as to whether it might of been at their discretion or something.. I daren't call them incase they log it and it affects them replacing my BB.
I pay £17 a month and due to upgrade in May. Also I'll qualify for 10% loyalty so it'll come down to £15 a month. So I could get the best upgrade I can without changing my plan, sell it and use the money to cover my 18 month contract. (if that makes sense)
Sorry it's a bit long winded, but I'm trying to find the best way of going about it without paying over the odds on a £46 a month contract.
