  • Just about to go pay for the item and found this site cause my wife said the tracking number pending was not right and also the communication was very weird by trying to be to friendly.

I have now sent a photo of a fake ukash recipt to Helen miller and i dont expect any reply lol. Thanks to this forum i have been saved from being out of pocket and looking a fool.

Helen is now selling a livestrong crosstrainer on friday ad. I suggest everybody reply to her ad and waste her time by pretending to buy it and let her know how it feels to waste peoples time.

    thanks andy

I can't believe it! After all these years on the net and spotting a scam a mile off, I too fell for it. helen1975miller@gmail.com has once again managed another successful scam. I thought I was buying a wardrobe as advertised in the Friday AD. A Parcelforce Worldwide text and email were received by me and then after many chatty and friendly emails, the UKASH code was sent as it seemed the easiest option. The code was cashed within 11 mins of me alerting her to it and I've had no response since. I can't believe I've been such an idiot! ACTION FRAUD have been alerted and she is well known there! No surprise. ParcelForce have no knowledge of the shipping transaction. Again, like a previous poster, I made the decision in haste without checking in here first! Oh well, £130 down the drain.
Just about to contact Friday-Ad now.
PLEASE DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS I DID. Note to self and all, always check MSE forums first!

    Take care all :)
  • Helen Miller is still scamming!! Silly me! I have never been a victim of this before and now i have i feel so mad and upset! She is selling bedroom furniture on viva street, for £70 which i thought was a bargain and as a single mum of two i'm the first to grab them! Beware of helen1975miller@gmail.com. Does anyone know if its possible to get my money back? Its been reported to action fraud, surely they can find out where this money has gone, especially if it has gone in her bank? Never heard of Ukash before now and i feel so mad at myself for falling for this! Any help would be great. Thanks :)
  • Hi there,

I've nearly fallen for this scam too, but luckily, I looked here before proceeding. Someone called Jenifer Nikson on Freegle in my area is offering a working Brother Sewing Machine for free to which I replied to. After a few days, I finally get an email from her saying her post was rejected by the moderators and could only just get back to me now.

Since the original posting, she's now relocated and the item is still available if I can pay for a courier to deliver. The courier she uses is Swift Courier and it's the same about the payment like everyone else above have mentioned, exact wording.

Glad I didn't get sucked in this time, it did sound too good to be true and glad I listened to my instincts.
