Did a spot of shopping with my mum this afternoon, got a red jumper dress. Gdad wants colours at the funeral...
Gdad is resting, met my great uncles for the first time today which was nice, we aren't a close family and I don't know much of my family.
Just waiting for dinner, then I think I will go for a bath or shower and have a fairly early night.
Catch up on thread time.

Thank all of you for your lovely mentions of me, I was being so self obsest when I posted this morning I fogot to add any Os,
so here goes :
I did vacume and clean 7 downstairs rooms ( with much help from DH :A) not only the floors but the stone walls also, oh the joys of living in an old cottage. I did 3 lots of washing got 1 lot dried in the conservatory, sadly had to use the TD for DD2's washing. Got everything dried and ironed and took DD2's stuff back to her. I took DGD for a short walk due to the rain, but she did enjoy jumping in puddles in her wellies.
Please don't think that DD2 takes me for granted, I insist on doing it because she is up twice a night feeding baby Olivia and Charlotte wakes up at 6am. Anyhoo it keeps my mind off things.
MONNOGRAM, That's just what DH said to me, what else can happen ? however there IS always someone worse off, Poor Burhgers.
MOORHEN thanks hun x think we crossed posts x
I am determined to stay possitive, I was awake a lot last night and did wonder if I was doing the right thing in attempting to be OS. I feel I may have my priorities all wrong. For example should I spend more time walking, talking having fun, going out etc with DH, DD's DGC and other family or keep an eye on what I spend, cook, clean and try to achieve the imposible of being Mary Poppins all rolled in with Nigela ?? :undecided
Right friends I think I may have bored you enough,,,,,,, I'm sure I can hear snoring !!!0 -

I think it's perfectly possible to do a little bit of both, it's just a question of balance. No point scrimping and saving if you can't enjoy life while you're at it. Do what you can but if the mood takes you to head out the door into the big wide world for a bit then do that too. Hugs for you and good for you being positive. No point worrying about what might be, deal with things when you know what you're dealing with xxxxI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
