    morning all.

absolutely no OS going on here. feeling awful again :( everytime i take a breath in, i get a sharp pain in ribs :( then if i cough, i am sick :( tried getting a drs appointment but they were fully booked. waiting for a call back from gp at the moment.

some good news is that british gas emailed our bill yesterday and we are £200 in credit from hardly using any gas over the summer. if we are still in credit by £100 by the end of the year then we will get a refund. we just have to give them a new meter reading.

hugs to anyone who needs them

  • Well I did my banking and decided that the bit of shopping I needed tomorrow I would get today as its sunny at the moment and forecast is awful for tomorrow so no point getting wet.Didn't have much to get so I am all sorted for the week-end and lots of baking peeling and cooking ahead for me this week-end.I am using up as much as I can from the freezer if possible.
<<hugs>> to the poorlies and I hope you all fell better soon .Just going to have a rummage to see what I can dig out for dinner tonight I think it maybe Liver and bacon (ready to eat as I have a couple of portions in the freezer) with mash (also frozen ) and maybe some stewed fruit for pud .Lunch is going to be beans on cheese toast (left over from the tin I opened last night )
I am using up as much as I can so I can run down the cupboards and freezer before Christmas

Morning all. Sending big hugs to all of you who need them, and for those of you feeling ill or tired, get some rest! You're no good to anyone if you're too tired or ill to function properly, a lesson I learned a while ago. Well done to those of you who have received a surprise - free food, BG credit etc.

Not much happening here, another quiet day at work, a quiet evening curled up on the sofa with a glass wine planned for tonight. HM indian takeaway for tea to prevent DH from taking a detour on our way home from work, already all prepared just needs cooking when we get in. Pile of ironing is increasing as is the mountain of washing that needs doing. Tomorrow's jobs I think.

    Take care all xxx

Back from Osteopathy and I feel much better again. This lady is so gentle in direct contrast to the first chap:eek::eek::eek: Going to have a nap and some time on here before I go and look after Mooloo's DGD whilst she goes to the physio and doctors. What a pair we are!

    Hi all,
WOW, Redruby, aren't you the lucky one. Anyone else would have got potatoes, a bag of flour, loo rolls and scouring pads.
Beth: Oh my goodness, what else can happen to you? You poor love, I hope things are not as bad as you are imagining.
Bramble: Glad the journey was OK. Nothing anyone can say will make the bad time you are going through any better, but you know all our thoughts are with you.
JulieG: Fingers crossed. Don't worry about a thing, people love to feel useful and you will get plenty of help over the weekend.
Lou: Hope you soon feel better.

3 large sacks of superfluous items have gone off to the Heart Foundation this morning and a nice card of thanks was pushed through the door giving a phone number if I ever had anything else to donate. They will come and collect it - now that's what I like to hear.

My bedroom still looks as though a tornado has recently passed through but I'm gradually getting there. Going through winter clothes this afternoon to see what I want to keep, iron and put in wardrobe.
I am determined to be at least a little more organised before Christmas.

Ham roll and salad for lunch. Chicken breast defrosting which will miraculously evolve into something wonderful for tea. Or chicken stir-fry. Then I will spend evening knitting the Chritmas stockings for the church fair, 4 down and 4 to go.
