Just over a grand for insurance when you have a drink driving conviction sounds a real bargain. Hope you've included business cover.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

I doubt they have any cover. Probably failed to declare lots of things.

Doesnt even know how many points they have.

    IN10 coming soon..

Too lazy to look to see what they put about the points, Im sure it changed somewhere.

    Never mind.

Trying to keep track or motoring stuff these days is a 365 day a week job. (yes week, not a typo):beer::beer:

Still confuses me, For what reasons must you take a retest?

New drivers who gain 6 points within 2 years is it? Back to provisional status.

    What else?

    Is it a court decision?

  • That's the thing - I didn't get any points. And although I took the retest I'm not even sure if I had to do this as there is no mention of my needing to resit the test or loosing the license. When it came to court the solicitor took my license from me. God knows what he did with it, probably flogged it onto to an illegal or something.

    Business insurance = muhuhahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

If you get stopped by the peelers you tell them it's from your aunty mavis'. That's exactly why I'm getting a people carrier and not a van, easier to smokescreen the use you're putting it to. People who pay tax who are otherwise able to get away with it are mugs. Just think of all the lolly you're handing to the socialists in Brussels to run this nation into the ground before you sign off your next return. Personally I give them nothing but the birdie tweet tweet lol

Says the man who is a PAYE employee in an office...

And if you get stopped at the roadside, the police will check if you have business use if they suspect you are using your vehicle in the course of a business and if you haven't, they will seize it. And that also accounts to people carriers and cars....
  • What are the odds? For a couple of bags of leaves and grass? If they were doing that they'd have permanent checkpoints all round Suburbia. That's why I want to quit the office, to come off the PAYE Radar, I'm not "otherwise able to get away with it," unlike others.

Competitors will notice a new startup who's cutting corners legally and they'll be happy to report you for whatever they can. That's one of many ways these things that you think you can keep secret end up coming to light.

HMRC, Police, Courts, Insurers - some or all of these are bound to have a bit of fun with you in the near future

Truthful though, unlike the OP who is seriously deluded and thinks he is mighty than thou.

OP how to do you intend to run a business if you intend to keep it a secret?? Whilst you may get away without business insurance once you'll be unlikely to the next time. Also if you have a serious accident and they investigate further you could be a whole heap of trouble. Clearly you haven't learnt much from your drink driving ban because if you did you would be doing things the right way.

BTW if you intend to run your business the way you have described above I suggest you sell your new car and buy a transit tipper and a Hobby!!
Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.
