EBay gone funny...be careful!!

I am busy packing items for the post. EBay is not telling me the money is received. Having to rely on PayPal payment notification.

Buyers are having problems they do not know whether they have paid or not...one person has paid 3 times and 4 have paid twice.

I either sort it out or jet off to the Bahamas

Hmmm.......I wonder which....lol

Did this at the start of the month too on the same day I started using new listing company ...was going berserk with them and all along it was EBay.

Oh dear, everytime ebay starts to playup it means they are 'improving' something, and that's never good....

I had problems with ebay/paypal last night :mad:

I bought 3 items [buy it now] from the same seller and sent payment immediately via paypal, before logging off I checked my account and found they had sent him 3 payments,
the 1st-item 1
2nd-item 2 plus item 1 again
3rd-item 3 plus item 2 again plus item 1 again

I emailed the seller and was ready to call paypal this morning but I've had an automated reply from paypal saying

********** has refunded your payment.
Temporary Hold Information: A temporary hold has been placed on funds that were returned to your account because you used Instant Bank Transfer to fund the original payment. The funds from this payment cannot be released until they have arrived from your bank account, which usually takes three to four working days.
Note from Seller:

Hello There
Please accept my deepest apologies on Paypal's behalf - I don't know why this has happened. Sadly you're the second person it's done this to - hope it hasn't caused too much inconvenience. Kindest Regards **********
