Is there any format of letter I can use to scare Excel parking away. My father who is disabled drove through their car park to park on the adjoining street and used his blue badge there, even confirmed with a parking warden he could park there which was under a sensor but still on the street and was told fine for up to 3 hours.
The car park though has recognition sensors and he is being charged as though he parked there as he then drove back through the car park on departure, car park is open and used as a drive through. He has been sent a second letter letter today asking for £60 increasing to £100 on the 8th of November. This was in Chorlton in Manchester. Father is fretting obviously.
He has wrote to them already but they quoted their sensors had a elapsed parking time of 30 minutes and the blue badge does not apply off street but they had not taken in the actual scenario above.
Would like to quote some legal case-law to them so they do not send anymore threats out.

No template will scare them away but Dad should just play snap with the letters that match the pics in our top thread 'PPC letters, what to expect':

And show him this:

excell are still at it in chorlton,,despite all the complaints from local traders complaining that they are scaring their customers away and takings 30% down, no one seems to want to do anything about them,,they took over a free car park in chorlton precinct and for the last 3 years have fleeced the locals and others,, especially with people driving through at say 8.45am and coming back through at say 5.30pm,,they are being targeted as having parked without payment, even residents of the local shops(live in above flat),,have to drive in through the car park to park at rear of shop are being hit with these illegal pcns,,i grew up in chorlton and dont get there to often now, but when i do i make a point of telling unsuspecting motorists about this scam and scum company,,if your dad lives in chorlton ensure he writes to local mp i think he is called john leech(unsure of spelling),,but to my knowledge he did promise to do something about excell 2 years ago, but they are still there and scamming away,so what did he do? even the nurses at chorlton h/centre get these phoney invoices on there car,, as you can imagine i have informed every member of staff there what to do,,or more importantly ,what not to do.do not bother contacting them, and completely ignore letters to follow,,roxburghe debt collectors and the world famous graham white soliucitors(not)as they wil not take your dad to court and just hope he gives them his money,,,do not and please get him to contact local mp and ask,,why has he not ran these cowboys out of town.0

Thanks CM, but aren't these articles re another company, Parking Eye and not Excel? Also, Father is worried so wants me to write to them, appreciate should just ignore but for my father's comfort any suggestions what I should write to them.0 -
Why are you writing to their fake appeals Service?? It's like people who reply to those pesky Nigerian scammers. When they they get a reply its like a hooked fish.
They will tell you that your appeal has failed and you still have to pay. So what will it acheive? Do nothing.
its not going to do your father any good.....
I suggest you take this good advice!!!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
If you've already engaged with them and they are clearly in the wrong, even before any legalities regarding the unenforceability of their charge, your father might feel better by writing back and simply stating that he has made the position clear and that another single letter back will result in him issuing a court claim for harassment in <insert local court name> county court.0

Thanks, I will do exactly that.0 -
These are Scam artists and all you will achieve by writing anything is more harrasment from the con man, more fake threats and more fake solicitors letters.
These scams RELY on giving you some bait to bite on, they know some people can not resist trying to be proved right and that is where the scam works.
Once they have a live fish on that hook, the scam starts.
My advice is TOTALLY IGNORE THEM
This is the ONLY way that has been proven to beat them, time and time and time again, it is the magic pill you are looking for.
IGNORE THEM 100%
Ignore all silly letters, ALL ! including fake debt collectors and fake solicitors letters and if they call a phone, put them on hold for an hour or two, its their money.
Any franked mail, put back in the postbox so it gets delivered again, do it again and again and they get charged for each time its delivered, they will soon stop giving you any more to do the same with when they get the bill.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. are you going to contact the local mp for chorlton,no point if your dad does not live there, but believe me if he does, he should put pen to paper immediately,,cant believe you are contemplating contacting these cowboys,, if you got an e-mail from nigeria telling you that you had won there lotto and to send them £100-00 for admin fees, would you bother? no i think not,, excell parking/roxburghe debt collectors/graham white are the scum of the earth and prey on folk like your dad coughing up to this scam,,dont waste your time with them.nothing will happen.0
