If you want pretty boys then go for a night out at Bournemouth Student Union, it's full of them! Although they are all arrogant, up themselves so-in-so's doing mostly media studies or some other poncy course... although I went there and didn't do a poncy course but half the class thought they were da bomb, when they clearly were just rich kids whose Mummy and Daddy paid for everything, eugh!

I quite like my older grumpier OH, he puts me in my place which I think needs to be the case =) Although Chris Martin on CIN om nom nom nom nom ;)

    Bonsoir bonsoir my lovelies,

Shoesy - glad to see you're still about sweetie :T

I don't have many exciting things to report but thought it was time to pop in.

Monday got off to a bit of a grim start when we got told off by Grumpy Boss for apparently "setting out to get Old Timer drunk for a laugh & then abandoning him to his own devices ".

I managed to calm Boss down & explain what really happened; that we had in fact put him in a taxi home after he started kicking off at various people & got off the train, but it turns out that Old Timer is not really meant to drink, & has a stream of previous similar incidents to his name, of which I was unaware.

I'm really not up for having to babysit grown men who cant handle their booze, when I'm out having fun & I'm certainly not up for getting treated like a naughty school girl by the boss.

I got annoyed & ended up telling boss that what I do on the weekend has nothing to do with him as long as I rock up to work in a fit state on a Monday morning :p & that it would take more than a few Gordons & Sambucca chasers to keep me away from his side:rotfl:.

That scared him & peace & harmony was eventually restored. It was NSD 14 too :). I was shattered & in need of some spiritual nourishing so had a blissful yoga session, a bath & early night.

Today has also been an NSD very frugal - number 15 so I've reached my target :j. I've also earned myself a cheeky £6 from Quidco by booking some work stuff online ;).

I was meant to be going to a work do with DD1 tonight, but she sent me a message to say it wasn't happening & I was a bit relieved as it meant not having to pay for parking or leave littlest on her own. I don't think she was that pleased though, as her plans probably involved lots of unsuitable tv & the biscuit jar :rotfl:.

I'd cancelled home-job for today & didn't miss it one bit.

Still no repayments to the Buffer Fund as my calculating was off in fantasy land again so I don't actually have any spare, but at least I'm not using the CC.

Looking forward to work tomorrow as I'll be the only one n the office from mid morning onwards . I shall indulge in my secret crush :D.

Bye for now, I'm away to soak & be fabulous
    G'night
    xx

Oh dear. In which you would think his longer term workmates might have calmed him down earlier on. Never mind, certainly not your fault.

    Enjoy fabulous time

    darn it, missed them. :(

Certain events this week mean it's necessary to be more frugal than fabulous for a while. That includes giving up my ticketing habit and deleting Ticketmaster from my favourites bar! :o

Glad all is well your end.

Not at all. She would have sat down and cracked on with her homework. Honest...
