What fun! My aunt used to say that you only got the worst of older men, as they tend to get grumpy and set in their ways. I think she might be right! I dont mind an older man myself but my real preference is for pretty boys, the younger and prettier the better! I can't wait til Im old enough to be called a cougar!

How old is she talking about?

    I don't think I'll *ever* grow up...

Or at least that's what I've been told.

My preference is for women I know and who are going to stick around. At that point you can develop your relationship and enhance things. Sometimes that can be more fun than you can handle...

Opera doesn't have guitars, nor men with "big hair".

    Hello bird,

I'm with you on the opera/heavy metal ... not a fan of either to be honest, makes me wince.

Yes, my poor wallet is a good deal slimmer, BUT it was fab fun & I feel fine today - second cooked brekkie now done.

I was Frugal yesterday but most definitely NOT Fabulous in any way :rotfl:.

I've had a thorough soak in the bath, done body & face scrubs & moisturising, then washed & deep conditioned my hair.

I feel thoroughly refreshed & fabulous & have painted my nails a gorgeous turquoise colour. I do find it a bit strange as I've never used this kind of colour before, but I think I like it :D

A quick stock check in the freezer & cupboards reveals that we have chicken breasts, quorn chunks, quorn mince, peas, a mini pizza, frankfurters, potatoes, leeks, onions, tomatoes, cheese, half a lemon & supernoodles as well as the ever present pasta, rice, pasta sauces, cook in chicken sauces, baked beans, sweetcorn, tuna & prunes. There are lots of cartons of juice, 2 bottles of squash, tea & coffee, one bottle of tonic, Gin, Pimms, Disaronno, last years mulled wine & if desperate some red, so we shan't go thirsty either. Failing that there is the good old tap.

Still have the vintage tins of condensed milk but not sure whether to actually try using them or not.

We also have plenty of baking ingredients although out of mixed fruit.

Just eaten the last 2 eggs - would be handy to have Pippi next door :D - but can always get them from the co op - I love their cheap boxes of random sized free range ones, & we're on the last bottle of milk but again, this can come from the co op.

We only have one orange & about 3 apples, & no other fresh veg, but DD can get fruit pots at school & I can cope without for a week or again use the co op vouchers.

We'll be fine & I'm looking forward to not spending any cash on groceries :).

Need to tackle the washing up & paperwork next *groans* & I have another fab Marilyn Monroe film to watch later if I get time.

I'm old enough & have the same predilection, but am trying to control it ... perhaps I should just embrace my inner cougar & get on with it :j

Omigod, this should be a film! And I can't believe you managed to come back to dfw by the end of yesterday :kisses3: what a brilliant time you had - and what a brilliant time you made out of it for us! Thank you :j:j:j

I confess, on the Saturday, I'd have been sitting very still and very quiet :o:o:o I'm such a wimp :D

Which Marilyn Monroe are you watching?

Well Queen is not really heavy metal, but certainly it starts Alice Cooper and doesn't stop at Ozzy...
