Oooh lula I'm moving in with a mate in two weeks time that wants to share my wardrobe in her spare room because she has too many clothes & shoes... this is in contrast to my 9 pairs of shoes (only 1 pair is heels) and all my clothes fit into two medium suitcases.

They're not really designed for throwing either. Stilettos, that is (of either kind) - although trying to throw a Ninja is also probably not a good idea.

This is true. But I'd bet GW Bush would have ducked more emphatically if that bloke had thrown stilletos instead of sandals.

Though Security probably would have done a double-take when he walked into the press conference...

You should watch more Kung Fu movies. They get chucked around all the time - usually by valliant Chinese peasantry overthrowing evil foreign influence.

And five bonus marks if you can say *why* stilleto daggers don't make good throwing knives...

Ah yes, "share" - that famous emphemism for "take over"...

Now that sounds like a good plan. Should also go try out the local kendo club. Need to use energy on something now stopped studying.

Hmm... original needle shape wouldn't have an even distribution of weight, which would affect rotation for throwing... dunno how they'd cope for impact, but don't look kinda heavy enough. Educate me :D

Am visualising what will happen if Cameron annoys some of our MSE shoe fans... never mind one sandal, security would have to haul him out from under the pile!

    Crumbs,

I have just 12 minutes to to make this post be about today's events .

    Frugal bits:

    - NSD number 11 :j

    Fabulous bits :

    - Choosing to eat 2 x choc digestives & 2 x shortbread fingers for my dinner.

    - Painting my nails a beautiful colour; Foxglove.

    Unfabulous & Unfrugal bits :

buying a card with pre-saved present money & realising 2 minutes after I'd left shop that I didn't have the £5 note of the change, just the £1 coin :(. I was distracted & still had my purse open so went back to shop to query it, but lady insisted she had given it to me, so can only assume I dropped it .

DD having used up her phone credit in just 3 weeks & with her being away from home tomorrow, I need her to have some so will have to top up again .

I am a mean & miserly mother so told her it will have to come out of this weeks pocket money, so she only had £2 & then bought me a picnic on the way home from school :o. I need to put her on a contract ... once I have my own phone bill under control .

    Other news :

Cash fund topped up as follows-

    Childcare = £45
    Presents = £70
    Fun ccccc = £50

Current Account = £40.39 in credit
    CC xxxxxxxxxxx = £0000

On Friday I need to fuel up the car, do a mini tatco shop, get the car cleaned & go out boozing with boys which includes train fares.

These are not cheap events & I don't think the £40.39 is going to cover it, although I do have £6.50 in tatco vouchers so will use those for the fuel.

It would actually be more sensible to use the CC & then pay off immediately, rather than use the overdraft, this needs to be the last time ...

On the other hand, I have gorgeous nails & a gorgeous silvery bejewelled frock to wear ( bought months ago & still unworn - I knew an occasion would occur eventually :p) so I don't need to buy an outfit :D.

And there I was, deliberately overlooking the errant goat from earlier...
Hmm... original needle shape wouldn't have an even distribution of weight, which would affect rotation for throwing... dunno how they'd cope for impact, but don't look kinda heavy enough.

The weight is biased towards the handle, so it would tend to turn in flight to bop the target on the head with the blunt end. Darts are shaped such as the weight is at the pointy end because that's how they're meant to arrive.

Personally I don't know why people chuck knives around - have they never seen Big Trouble in Little China?
    Educate me :D

    Ooer missus... ;)

I think he'd be squeezed out from under the pile. Like toothpaste...

    Pardon? :rotfl:

Ok ok, so I'm a Capricorn, hence errant goats do tend to find their way into my thread.

I love goats & I'm determined to have a herd/gaggle/school/shoal/butt (ha) full one day.

But only if they are the tree climbing variety.

I shall delight in getting fire brigade to come & rescue my goats when they're stuck up a tree.

Thanks Z for ensuring I don't get too uppity :A

    It's too late, I'll need a pre-boozing nap tomorrow

    G'night
    xx
