Hi peeps
Regarding this recipe:consultant31 wrote: »May I suggest Slimming World quiche?
The quickest and easiest is a made up packet of Batchelor's Pasta 'n' Sauce, whisk in 3 large eggs. Pour into a flan dish, pop into oven Gas 6 for about 30-40 mins.
It sets into a crustless quiche which is tasty, filling and slimming too
Do I cook the Batchelor's pasts first on the stove, then add the eggs, or do I just add the ingredients of the packet to 3 eggs?Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

Hi 10past6,
I've never tried that recipe so can't help. Why don't you send a message to the op of the recipe to ask exactly what she does. Click here to send her a pm.

How long have you left it? It should be showing signs of rising in this weather within an hour.
Is your yeast fit? Take a teaspoon of it, with a teaspoon of sugar and mix in warm water. If there's not a froth within 15mins, your yeast is past it. If you do get a froth, as long as it's Fast Acting yeast, add some more to your bread dough, knead and leave to rise. If it's shot, you'll need fresh yeast.
You can make your existing dough into pittas :rotfl:

Helpppppppppppppppppppppp
I've just made a baked bean loaf using this recipe:
Serves 4
SW plan: 2 syns per serving on green plan
400g can baked beans
1 small onion, finely chopped
57g wholemeal bread (6 syns or 1xHEB)
2 tbsp tomato ketchup (2 sins)
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp yeast extract (Marmite)
1 tsp dried mixed herbs
Seasoning
Make the bread into breadcrumbs. Then wet a 1lb loaf tin, and line with non-stick baking parchment. Mix together all the ingredients and turn into the prepared tin. Level the surface and bake in a preheated oven at 180*c for about 35 minutes until firm to the touch. Leave to cool in the tin for a few minutes, then turn out, remove the paper and serve warm or cold.
Serve with SW syn free potato wedges and fresh peas
I've taken it out after 35mins cookin, let it cool, and it's all soggy, how can I get it to be firm?
Stupid question but you did only put a teaspoon of marmite in? I've misread tsp as tbsp before now and added far too much (paprika I think it was!) :rotfl:0 -
