I use a piece of masking tape - it was a suggestion on one of the threads I read. Easy to tear and write on with pencil or pen and I got a couple of packs of 3 rolls for 25p each at Mr Ts. I'll never buy a sticky lable again:D0

Quick question re: carpet freshner...
I buy shake & vac for around £0.80p and I know I could make my own from baking soda & aromatherapy oil, but since baking soda is around £0.50p for a tiny pot, seems like shake & vac is the cheapest option re quantity?
Any other brands you'd suggest - I have access to Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys and Lidl?
Not sure if it is any help, but I recall watching an episode of How Clean is Your House and Kym had a homemade carpet fresher. She had the baking soda, but instead of the aromotherapy oil she used dried lavender.
Of course, only beneficial to you if you have access to the lavendar.0 -
Wonder if anyone can help .....
I'm looking into getting 2-3 chickens - small coop and run - in our back garden. It's fenced in etc so ideal space. The only problem my title deeds say that we are prohibited from keeping poultry, ducks, pigeons, rabbits, bees or other livestock.
Does anyone know what the worst is that could happen if I ignore this and go ahead? don't think I would have any objections from my neighbours.
Would appreciate any quick advice.....
Thanks guys
Hi Weegie...You would have to enclose the coop and run,
in the event of wild bird flu...in view of deeds and possible neighbour trouble, not a good project.0 -

I use masking tape for labelling & would suggest you write on the tape before sticking it on the bag/box. Also use a thickish felt pen in a darker colour or the writing 'disappears' once off the roll IYSWIM.Full time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.
