I forgot to put the frozen salmon into the fridge last night to defrost for dinner this evening  Would it be ok to just leave it out on the side to defrost? On the packet it says defrost for 8-10 hours in the fridge but it'll be too late by then. Sounds like such a silly question I know but I just want reassuring really.0

I would be quite happy to leave it out on side, provided there isn't a cat to have a good breakfast! You will have to cook it to-day.

I opened a packet of sausages last week and used 5, there are 3 left with a useby date of 14 Dec. On the back of the pack it says 'once opened use immediately' - they've been refrigerated and smell OK. I'd rather use them up than throw (esp. when can't really see a reason to dispose of them).
Honestly, I think they are OK to use, but wanted opinions please. Planning to put them in a toad in the hole, so they'd be thoroughly cooked by the time they're eaten.
Apologies for asking a question with a (probably!) obvious answer...blame my pregnant brain!
Thanks a lot guys.

If you are pregnant, I really wouldn't take the chance. It's only 3 sausages.0

I normally just replace the nuts with the same weight of sultanas:oAll comments and advice given is my own opinion and does not represent the views or advice of any debt advice organisation.
