I've got a Beko and I wouldnt recommend them at all.
I had to have the man out cos the first time I used it it stunk of burning rubber .. he said this is normal and to just do a boil wash to seal the door?
A couple of times I've had smoke coming from it.
I've never had these problems with other makes.
I've got a Beko fridge freezer too, luckily was made just after the recalled ones - I'd avoid Beko full stop.1,2 & 5p: Christmas day food £9.31
10 & 20p: misc savings £2.70
50p: Christmas presents £3.50
£2: holidays £2.000 -
I have had two indesit washing machines, entry level prices, never had a thing go wrong with either in 15+ years use, same with my mum,
I dont use Calgon or such like, just give them a hammering and they do the business, wheras my friends seem to spend their lives waiting for thei rposh ones to be repaired

Ok guys thanks so much,,ive decided to up my amount,as the cheaper washers seem not worth it.
Sorry I know i keep asking questions,,but i am looking at maybe £250 as this seem to get me better options.
At a push and only if its worth it ive found a samsung washer 7KG 1200..for £265 delivered,,but im unsure of the company,it has 200+ good reviews on i think pricerunner, but the machines seems really cheap compared to other places.

The Beko spins automatically, it is a good spin.
Hard water destroys the inside of metal appliances, take a look in your kettle.
I have a friend that repairs w machines and he says 90% of repairs are cause by limescale,
the only product that will help is purchased from a service engineer and is £10 for a months supply, I prefer to
spend my £10 a month on a newer, more efficient model when my current machine stops working.0 -
most annoying thing is that I would of gone for that cheap beko at best buy, which was 152.99 with the code but it was OOS,,I did email them to ask when it was coming back in,but they said there is non in stock and not sure when they was getting it back.
Low and behold I was up searching the net on thurday morning early hours, the morning after the 15WASH expired, and it suddenly came back in stock.Dony worry,be happy...0 -

Limescale build-up can be prevented very cheaply by using washing soda in a few washes per monthYou never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow0 -
I've got an Indesit which is similar but not the same as the one in your picture. I also live alone and normally do two washes a week. I've had two Indesits in the lifetime, one lasted 9 years and I've had the other one for 2 years now.
My latest one was from John Lewis. Remember they will pricematch. When the machine was delivered the door lock was a bit temperamental. I rang up John Lewis who said they could either get a mechanic out to me the next day or they would replace it with a new one but would have a two week wait. The mechanic (who was an Indesit mechanic) came the next day fixed the door and it has worked fine since.
I'm in the same situation as you - unemployed and no money at the moment. My fridge freezer broke a couple of months ago and after a lot of searching I found a local shop (found via Ebay - I bought in store though) that sold internet/catalogue return appliances and got a "like new" fridge freezer from there at a really cheap price - I even managed to knock down their displayed price so this might be worth a go. The salesman said that once they have been delivered by the original store and opened and customers change their minds the shops class them as used (nobody would want to accept an appliance in a new box that had obviousloy been opened) and so they can't be sold as new products even if they have never been used.0 -
Worth looking at comet online or finding your local comet 'scratch and dent' store (google comet scratch and dent should give it you). They sell the the stuff that's been dented in delivery or retunred, or is an end of line. I've bought fridge, freezer and washing machine that way with huge savings.
I got a bosch (excellent) washing machine reduced by £100, and consequnetly cheaper than the beko equivalent, all because the small plastic flap that covers the filter was missing. Advice is generally that it's better to buy the cheap end of a good make, than the expensive end of a cheap make, as the basic components are more durable.

Use the internet to search out better deals.
Whenever I look for new white goods it is rare that big name sheds can match them. More often than not the branded stuff turns up on a branded lorry delivered in the same way that a big store purchase would. Recent double oven was £150 (30%)cheaper.
The only exception for certain items is John Lewis and they do offer better service, IMO, should you have a problem."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....
