iii.co.uk S&S ISA problems?

Hi
Is anyone else having problems with iii.co.uk ISA, it seems ever since they changed the interface the options are far more limited.
For example I wanted a quote on Berkshire Hathaway but now apparently it doesn't even exist in their database of international equities, other US companies do.
It also wont let me buy corporate bonds in an ISA saying it's not allowed??
They've also removed the live webchat assistance which annoys me, now its some crappy email system and takes them a day to reply

Faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

no help to you but the 'upgrade' is really a downgrade0

I'm still waiting for a couple of dividends to arrive (should have been paid 31st). I sent a secure message yesterday and an email/phone back message today, but so far no response. I'm sure they are having quite a few problems with the new trading platform that will take a little while to sort out.
Will keep you posted on progress.0 -
Can BRK be bought in an ISA0
-
I don't see why not. I could get quotes on it previously, and can get quotes on every other US company
I found out the issue with the corporate bonds incidentally, it was due to the short maturity so they werent allowed in an ISA -.-Faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.0 -
I also do not like the upgraded site.
I can no longer see any dividends that have been paid for my shares nor any income payments from my ISA a/c.
These are paid into my Bank but the payment doesn't state which share or ISA. It never did this but, before the upgrade, I could find out this info by looking at the income statement on my account pages on iii.
I sent a secure message on Monday but have so far not had a reply and I can't get through to them on the phone - too many other people trying to complain about the upgrade I expect.Born to shop;)0 -
There are a number of things that I am unhappy about with the new site and I certainly don't find it an improvement! iii should have had a good look at the HL site - say what you like about HL but they know how to present an attractive and functional website.
The only advantage I can see is the removal of the £2 charge for limit orders etc.Old dog but always delighted to learn new tricks!0 -
I have been unable to add the LG emerging markets tracker to my portfolio. Sent a secure message bu tno reply. Not best pleased to be honest.0

Quite a few things broken. I think they have moved to an existing platform, adopting the suppliers back end and put a new front end on it.
Fund purchases take an extra day longer to execute so I presume fund provider has been changed to cofunds.0 -
I'm going to wait and see how it pans out.
After the horrendous experience I had transferring my S&S ISA from Hoodless Brennan to III in the first place, I think its less hassle to stick.0
