Cheaper on ebay0

I use No.7 extreme length waterproof - survives me walking in the rain, crying etc.. actually their non waterproof is almost as good and often comes in trial 4.5ml sizes in their free gifts, may be able to grab a small one off ebay. Of course like all, some work for some people, not others.0

Thanks for all of the info on here. I wondered if anyone has had any success in returning mascara? I notice that someone returned a Boot's own to them but how about a Max Factor to Superdrug? I've just treated myself to a MF 2000 calorie mascara which was £7.99, a lot of money to me. I normally stick to Rimmel and been really disappointed with clumps and bits dropping off onto my fresh make-up as I apply it. Would it be better to contact MF? Sorry to hi-jack the thread:oThe beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful forum. I'm very grateful for the guidance and friendliness that I always receive from you.

Used to work at a Superdrug- it is unlikely you would get a refund on a mascara as the policy is not to refund on cosmetics.
Maybe try getting in touch with Max Factor themselves?0 -
Laura Geller's mascara might be worth trying. It can only be removed by using the oil cleansing method though.
.
I love Laura Geller make up (her blusher is amazing) but her mascara's dont suit me at all, the one on the link very hard to apply smoothly has fibre-y bits in which went clumpy rather quickly then dropped off, I had bits down my face within an hour.
Was a b*gger to shift what was left though
YDSMI wish I would take my own advice!0 -

I've tried a load of waterproof mascaras, including benefit, maybelline (colossal volume), max factor (false lash effect) but despite good reports, they've just not worked for me. I'm currently using clinique's high impact curling mascara, which doesn't seem to run (which is great), but doesn't come off easily.
I've bought the bourjois clubbing mascara today and will report back on how well it works for me. Would be interested to know how people get on with the others recommended too
Is it working?
Id be interested to know because every single mascara Ive tried seems to smudge on me after a few hours.0 -

I LOVE Laura Geller blushers (I have a few) & the Body Shop ones that are similar - but I think they might have been a summer special (thankfully I got 3:o).0 -
Bobbi Brown Smudgeproof mascara is bomb-proof! It's around £18 so not cheap but really stays put.
I am using a Maybelline one at the moment though, the collosal volume waterproof one and that is really good too, but would've bought the Bobbi Brown one again if I'd had the money when my last one ran out!0 -
Has the holy grail been found ? Best I have found so far is the Bourjois Clubbing one. That still isnt great.
Had some success with powdering my eye lashes first, seemed to smudge less.
Onwards ladies x0
