LA lot of insurance companies ask you to declare if you have had any conviction, have any conviction pending or attended a police speed awareness course in the last 5 years.
So, they are on to it for their ounce of blood

attending a SAC is a private affair to wich you pay for and as your not CONVICTED as you put it theres no way on earth they could possibly check thats the whole point of the SAC. and the police wont give your details to the insurers as even attending one as its a DPA offence to do so because you have purchased a training course and not mandatory by law to attend one. so as far as the ins co's asking they can ask all they like they wont ever find out even if you had and selected no.
