    Hi Megan,

Glad everything's going to plan! You sound really organised.

I've finally stopped faffing around and have just emailed the venue we want enquiring about availability on the day we want. Fingers crossed!

My next plan is to sort out some save the dates and an info letter. I want to try and send it out around a year before the big day, so I've got a couple of months! :rotfl:

Am so excited for you getting to try your dress on! Lucky thing hehe I want to start dress shopping but need to lose some weight first. :o

Just a quick one - I have 'pimped' my shoes and I am stupidly happy with the results! I am wearing some sexy, understated pale old gold shoes from Monsoon. I got them last January in the sale, wore them for my sisters and they have been knocking around ever since. I decided to wear them when the ones I bought were too tight.
So, thinking of ways of giving them a little 'something' I decided to stick some gems on. I had bought some strips of 'diamantes' for card making and I have popped a line straight up the heel. I had also bought some sparkly sticky letters and I have put the words 'Oh' and 'Yes' on the bottom! OH is going to put 'Ding Dong' on his.... he he he.
Now I hope they stay, I am SO blooming impressed with them!

Oooo those sound great, do we get to see a pic?

I've seen some beautiful sparkly shoes, around £300 though, so not cheap! A, hoping I can stretch the budget!

Heard back from the wedding planner at the venue, looks like it's all go!! Woo hoo!

I will post pics later. The ladies in the shop thought they were funny, as did my friend. I finally gave in and took a friend for my last dress fitting. She loved it.

I have also bought the remainder of my make up. No7 have a 3 for 2 offer on and I had some vouchers and points so got £60 worth of make up for £0! Hooray for MSE.

Also bought some more hair colour - I have to decide on a colour in the next week so we can colour my extensions to match!!

Last night we decided on our songs for the ceremony... Yippee.

Getting a wee bit excted now.

currently it is a very light blonde, but I am toning it down a bit and aiming for a more ash tone. It is too brashy at the moment.

So, over the weekend I started our table plan - I will take a picture of work in progress as quite pleased with how it has worked out.

I also got some knickers! Some plain cream ones for under my dress, but I bought some cute coral pink pants and top, along with a robe, for when I am getting ready. I even found a garter for £3 in the Debenhams sale! I had white stuff in my hand - I even tried it on and liked it - but I couldn't resist the more colourful, fun option. Plus virgin? Moi? Uh hmmm.
