Is your venue just off Morecambe Bay? I just recognise it (or not, if it isn't....)

You are very welcome to! The more the merrier. In the evening!
It is just such a stunning place, even though Morecambe it's self is a little run down in places!

It is but so much better now than what it used to be. Your venue is fabulous and the scenery is amazing.

Thanks - I have a love affair with the sea, especially there, it is so beautiful. The pictures should be pretty lovely too!

Lisajane - you are a benetint spotter! I will upload the makeup I had done today later - it looked great, more glam and in keeping with our 'theme'.

Ok, so not really related to my progress, but I was so excited to find that the group I set up on Facebook so we can help each other has had it's first success! We managed to track down a dress required by a bride! I'm so pleased it is finally starting to work I had to share!

It has been an age since I updated my diary and now I can officially say 'I'm getting married next month!' Hip hip hooray.

We don't have too much left to do now other than look forward to the day! We had our joint stag/hen do and it turned out to be great fun. We went lazerquesting, for cocktails followed by curry. It wasn't wild, it wan't expensive, but it was perfect!

We had our final meeting with the hotel on Tuesday. I have to say Vicky, the lady we have been dealing with, has been perfect. She has made us feel very, very welcome and although we are probably having one of the cheapest weddings possible there we have never felt inferior.

All the meal requests are back - only a few people 'lost' their cards so I still ahve plenty of spares. tonight I am going to have a go at making the table plan...

Tomorrow I have my final dress fitting, yahoo. How chuffing excited am I!

I am also going to try and fit in a practice run at the town hall to see if our chosen music is long enough!

Hope all your plans are coming along well?
