  • I naively selected our hotels for Mauritius and the Seychelles based on Trip Advisor reviews. Thankfully they were outstanding.

Did that Stupid bloke with his granny really expect the hotel to change the duvet cover every day ? Just because he had a "skin condition" ? Brain condition more like, as in, lack of. He was a prize plonker, god help the woman that ends up with him (not very likely though is it ?) He was so smug when they brought him tonic instead of lemonade. I'd have poured it over his head. Review that, you !!!!!!.

Lol, I really wanted to punch him, they do not even change the duvet covers everyday at the savoy, so god know what he was going on about.

I am a fussy old thing and I have given harsh (but deserved) reviews as well as high praise, and even I would not have thought about defacing the sheets to see if they changed it, run my nails in corners of baths or if i ordered a drink and was partially wrong i would simply tell them as that is so trivial.

They should send him to the Mayfair or ritz, he will probably moan about the bed being too big and comfy, the shower pressure too perfect and the polite housekeepers too happy!

    Total madness.

    It isn't very likely ;)
  • Too right........
I think the defining moment was when he suggested he could determine what type of person the 'reviewer' would be by the model of car they arrive in.

    What an idiot!

Perhaps not. That decor was so outrageous he probably thought that someone who owns a big car would be more likely to appreciate his hotel than someone with a small family car. Doesn't always follow - but maybe :D

Did anyone recognise who Stu.Bec was ? I'm fairly sure it was the infamous 'stuurl' / 'kenny powers' / 'mr lahey' from these very forums.
You negate to mention their current User ID?

Too right........I think the guy himself modelled himself on Basil which hardly did him any favours - especially when the fool was trying to even sound like him when swearing!

Exactly! He only gets along with customers with Jags

Dear Lord I fell asleep 3 times reading his comment ;) ..... But for what it's worth I feel more than a tad sorry for the lad as he is obviously not the full shilling.
