It depends on how second hand they are, winter tyres will last 3 or 4 winters. If you buy them after 1 winter they are still good value as they have a few more winters left in them, buy really cheap and they probably only have one winter left (and you have therefore paid more than you would per winter than you would have with new tyres).0
