  • I'm just posting to say I finally have NSD 9 under my belt - it was a very close run thing and all I can say is that I'm lucky that most of the good stuff as gone from the M&S half price toy sale when I went to look a second time! I've just sold something on eBay so I am, in fact, in credit today! Can I get a whoop whoop? A self peeling banana or orange would also be acceptable (spoon - I'm directing this at you!) :)

I'm feeling a bit lonely as my other half is STILL at work (he's supposed to finsh at 4. Ha!) so I'm going to go up to bed and sulk... see you later :)
Part time GCer, NSDer, Comper and (Bad)Flylady :o
A big shot is just a little shot that kept shooting ...
  • NSDs no 13 and 14 for yesterday and today please. Only 1 more until I reach my target :j

Well, pipersky, as you've been feeling a bit down in the dumps over the last couple of days and OH was still at work, you can have a WHOOP WHOOOP with pleasure. I'll make an exception for once and here's a banana as well:D:D

  • Another NSD on Tuesday, and only £5 spent apart from that this week (blasted Dartford crossing, both ways, and then £2 in w@itrose). Takes me up to 10/12. Doing ok!

Rather desperately scrabbling for £360 by next Wednesday, have £200 at the moment. So I think I'll have to give young farmers a miss tonight as can't afford any more petrol! Still, can't complain, the £360 is the balance due for a holiday with the family in Feb so not exactly too grim! :rotfl:

  • Hey guys, I keep popping in and out of here to read what everyone had been up to, no exciting NSDs to report I'm afraid as I have been buying Xmas pressies on Amazon yesterday and I got called into work unexpectedly on Monday which mesnt I had to buy some lunch as i rushed in as soon as they called. Did mean I earnt an extra few pennies for december by being there tho so its not all bad. I won't get one today because I am off to a sewing social tonight to start making xmas pressies for people. Hooray! I will aim to get one tomorrow because I need to reach my target and its getting harder as the end of the month gets busier :)

JintyB- I am sorry to hear about your works unfairness, I would have been annoyued too like most people on here agree. I felt like that in my old job that I did them so many favours and when I needed one thyey were so strict with when I could take time off, despite being at uni and only part time. They also used to change my hours without letting me know and then call me wondering why I wasn't there. Grrrrr! Anyway, it is all in de past as Rafiki would say :) I will be lurking later on no doubt and popping in to report my nsd tomorrow :)

  • Morning. Having a rest while DD is asleep. Well done to all of you losing weight and Fresian Wow, check you out, 3st in 6 months, that's amazing.

I'm definitely not going to make my target but can't think of any spending that needs doing between now and the weekend (unless school springs something on us again, grr). We have to go out and buy plaster and paint for ds's room as ds2 has destroyed the wall this week, but that will be coming out of his birthday money so hopefully no spends for us, although I'm sure DH will come up with something really important that he needs! <rolls eyes>

DH was paid today, yippee, and £100 more than I was expecting, not seen his wage slip so guessing he had a bonus for something? So his account has been raided :D Shopping budget into one, diesel budget into another account and money nicked from the o/d paid back, phew!

Not a NSD at Fresian Towers as I'm going to Morrisons after work (with a list and a plan to spend less than £5) and as I seem to be getting a cold I bought myself a posh tea from the work canteen to make myself feel better :o It's not worked though....bah!
