oh nooo sarahlou that its cold and foggy where you are. Its been lovely near me, which means butdoinnedit that I have got all my bulbs planted, hoooray!
wouldbequalitymoneysaver- how much was ur airer from l*keland? I have the same problem in my house and need a good quality airer to dry my things on. ooh and havr you tried cranks or covent garden cookbooks for ur gormet veggie cookbook? they might be good
The above Lakeland thingy is £79.99 worthy every penny as far as I am concerned even though it has serious shortcomings such as a lack of rigidity that you normally see in Airers.
I have become almost fanatical in washing clothes because not only do they dry soon enough but my flat gets free heating. I have not put on any Radiators since I brought the airer.
On the Veggie book front. I brought to try out, Cranks Bible which seems like good recipes in the wholefood vein. (Heidi Swansons site 101 Cookbooks is good too which I am looking into). I have a friend who is veggie which is one reason I brought them, the other being Veggie Trials might be good for me from a health point of view. ( I am a confirmed meat eater and love my food and I have every wide ranging tastebuds: Indian, English, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese etc) The Veggie cook books exercise is very much trial and error hence one reason I have been/am on a veggie cookbook spree.
Current books include Delia Smith Vegetarian Collection. (all TV Chefs feel duty bound to issue Veggie books), The Cranks Bible, Otto Ottolenghi Plenty, The Bean Book Rose Elliot, an Indian Vegetarian book.
I am interested in the sort of Foodie Vegetarian books such as you see in the Gaurdian where you have recipes that are both reliable and tasty, otherwise they would not feature in Broadsheet Food Columnns.
Best wishes to all.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

I do believe that today could be NSD no 13!! So declaring now incase I get the urge to spend online later
Hope everyone is having a good day x
Oh wouldbe...have you looked at Hugh F-Ws Veg Book I got it for DS1 before he headed back to Uni this autumn, and he loves it (yes, he's a veggie). I got the same book for my birthday this week, but not had much of a chance to look through it very much (too heavy to hold after my op!!). Been catching some of the programmes on the tv, lots of appetising recipes and lovely simple ideas too. Once I am feeling better and back to normal, I'll have a good read of it.

Oops... lied earlier. Not deliberately! I have actually spent £25.13, due to £20.13 on petrol.
Struggling with job applications over here, I thought I was doing ok, finished a page... next page loaded with 7 more questions, all of the "tell us about a great team you were part of" and "tell us about a time you had to adapt to a difficult situation" and "what team or social activities do you do regularly?" variety... well, I can't really put going down the pub now can I?! :rotfl:
Ugh starting to do my head in a bit! But the next one will be easier once I've done this one. Sorry for the moan, it really isn't anything to moan about I know...“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

NSD 12 yesterday.
I'm not sure with today - away this weekend and could really do with buying a nice going out outfit but not sure when I will find the time to shop! Tried A$da - nothing that suits. Maybe T£sco tonight!
Hope everyone is well.

It's not quite 3 stone - yet! I'd love to lose that by Christmas though
Definitely not a NSD for me today thanks to Amazon Black FridayI've bought Toy Story 1-3 for me on DVD (£9 on offer, but cost me £4 thanks to having a spare Amazon voucher!) and a six month LoveFilm subscription which cost £17.50. I've also bought a book for Mr F's Christmas and spent nearly £5 in Morrisons.
I would love to think that tomorrow will be a NSD too, but I'm not convinced.
Still feeling run down and coldy, so have decided against going to Fat Club tonight and am snuggled up in the house with a massive jumper on. The heating will be going on soon too once the warmth from the oven has died down.
