Ohhhhhhhh, I'm so wanting a Kindle (see my sig!) - I've added one to a basket many times during the past year but have managed to talk myself out of it so far.
I'm sure I'd save money in the long run - I only buy books at the sm (usually when £3 or 2 for £7 etc) but they must all add up.
Unfortunately the library has changed it's hours and I can't go anymore (which probably means more books being bought):(.
Is it as fab as it looks?[/QUOTE]
Still getting used to it, but so far I'm impressed. Managed to download some free books too.
Bought itfrom MrT so paid full price. Bought the WiFi keyboard one for £109 which I don't think they have on Amazon. But I did have amazon credits from text books they bought back from me when I finished Uni, so I used those to order my kindle case with light, which otherwise would have cost me £50.DFW Nerd 1394.

Funnily enough I looked at Mr T as they apparently had them with £10 off (with a code) but they're out of stock!
I have £20 in Mr T vouchers/gift card so that was a good starting point ...... however, I really like Fresian's "free kindle" so have decided to put all cashback from Quidco towards it & will be joining a few new survey sites!
No 6 in the bag today!:j

Kerri - hope you're having another lie in this morning - you deserve it after the week you've had!
Well, good news is that I'm back at work tomorrow:) (whether I'll still be saying that by tomorrow night is a different matter;)) but I just can't wait to get back to RL in RL!:D
Have a good Sunday everyone:)
Rolled out of bed about 11am which was nice (although was dozing for a bit) however, haven't wasted the whole day. Spent 3hrs in the garden pruning and tidying up the front, side (including pruning a tree avec one saw  oh came out to find me up ladder sawing away, he said 'what's that poor tree ever done to you :rotfl:) also started on the back garden, tidied up one of the boarders, replanted some bulbs I dug up the other week (no idea what they are though) and relocated some little lavendar plants that had sprung up in the stones (we don't have a back lawn). Plan to get some bulbs to pop in for the spring before it's too late. Oh, also found two more mice who were apparent victims of our pud who has turned into a very effieient hunter  (said pud currently sat on my lap asleep looking as if butter wouldn't melt
).
Had a long hot soak after 3hrs in the garden and beef casserole now in the oven. Just about to list a couple of bits on fleabay and have some ironing to tackle. Hmm...I'm not so good at this putting my feet up lark am i? :rotfl:
Oh, forgot to declare NSD #5 :j
btw rising, OH bought me a kindle for last xmas, tbh I wasn't fussed about one - and it's prob the most used present i've ever had. It's great when I travel (so I got the 3G version so I'm never stuck for being able to download a book) but I use it loads at home too. It's really good in the garden in the summer too (light doesn't reflect like book pages and blind you) and I'm always reading a few pages before bed. Its deff given me my reading mojo back. Would deff recommend in a heartbeat.
