No 5 NSD for me.
It's surprising how you avoid spending on this challenge. Went on Amazon to download a book as I read in the night when I can't sleep. I ended up with a freeby text bk on geology, maybe it will be so boring I'll fall asleep.
Mr S sent some vouchers through the post. 400 bonus nector points if you spend £100 online or in the shop, tempting until I worked out that 400 points is only worth £2.00. I think I'll keep my purse shut.0 -
Today ended up being a fairly big food shop spend day. I have been so careful for months now, only buying essentials and house shopping.Today I wanted to buy all kinds of luxuries, even tempted to start using my credit card again.
Luckily I managed to resist the urges to use card, but it was really hard, nearly lost my will power.DFW Nerd 1394.

NSD 4/12 in the bag, (welll... apart from £1 for a new poppy but I agree, that doesn't count. Nor will church collection money on Sunday).
Tomorrow I have to pay for parking and some ingredients, but not getting any mags (my usual saturday treat... a copy of Farmers Weekly... I , like, totally rock  ) till I've actually read all the copies hanging about the place! :rotfl:“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

Good morning folks,
I had a spend day yesterday due to a visit to Mr A and a fairly large shop, although I did take advantage of a £5 off voucher;). I hope everyone has a good weekend and has at least started the Christmas shopping as it's only 42 days from tomorrow:eek:If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

NSD #4 yesterday for me
Today will be a spendy one as I need to get the bus to town and am going to see what offers are in Poundland. I'm hoping to do quite a bit of walking to counteract the yummy food/wine I had at my friend's house last night or Fat Club won't be pleased with me0 -
