Evening all. Had a wonderful lie in today until 11am - not really stopped since going to Taiwan then up to Scotland and the palava with my mummy's keys this week so deff needed it (or could've also been the mulled wine last night
)
Not quite a NSD but not a bad haul. Popped to Primarni to see if they had another dress like the one i bought last week, I love it but it's got an elasticated but round the waist which would be nice if a teeny bit slacker and I wanted to see if they were all the same. However, none left so sticking with the one I have. Did buy a £2 ring to go with my dress for the xmas do - the dress has a peachy colour top section and this ring has peachy diamonte type stones so should go nicely. also bought a pj top for £2.50. Nearly bought some bottoms too but decided i preferred them in the colour where they didn't have my size.
Then on to Mr T - took some items back which weren't right, doubles up a £5 cc voucher and got a cute xmas all in one suit for my niece (red with spots and a reindeer on) plus a long sleeved top for next year (to make up the £10 voucher value), some free hovis bread and a few other bits, then got DTD on two activity centres I bought for my niece and niece/nephew due in Dec. So about £55 for £10:j
Also stopped at Mr A, stocked up on some proper food, incl a whoopsied bag of casserole veg reduced to 20p from £1. Also (slightly unplanned) got OH a box of Baileys truffle chocs on offer at £5 from £10 (stashed for his xmas) - its a variety box which I haven't seen before. Of course, used some coupons, £58 to £30. :T Think that will come out of the grocery budget though (except OH prezzie) as it was actually (in the main) a proper shop.
wombling a bit thin on the ground tonight but sure it will pick up again. I did use a separate APG to get some items for the local food bank so must drop those off next week.
Not really planning to go out tomorrow so fingers crossed for a NSD...Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Good morning all!
No NSD to report, but small spends yesterday on vitamins from B00ts. Decided to try fish oils for my psoriasis after watching Food Hospital on C4, so got them and some cement for my lil denture. On the plus side I had a double points vchr and one for 25% off vits so I saved @ £6. My accumulated points will pay for tights and toiletries next week, so that's good!
We managed to resist the coffee shop though and saved ourselves a second mortgage to buy two cappucinos! I love a nice coffee, but nowadays its a treat!
Had a quiet day after that, like you Kerri, its been a bit of a week so it was nice to have a break! Just been reading about your bargains - fantastic!
Today I need to buy onions, but that wont count as I've excluded f&v from NSDs, other than that I should not be spending anything!
Have a great day everyone:)
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0 -

:jFantastic news! Congratulations:DLittleMissHappy wrote: »I am meeting some really old friends that I haven't seen since I was 14  and sunday I will be travelling back so I am assuming I will be spending on food and drink etc (but so worth it!) I'm really looking forward to it!
Hope you're having a lovely time LMH - I met up with a school pal that I hadn't seen for around 14 years  in the summer. I was a bit worried, but it was great to catch up & we still get on just as well (but now have a few grey hairs/wrinkles that weren't there the last time we saw each other!):)Frodobaggins wrote: »Today ended up being another spend day. I succumed to temptation and bought myself a long awaited kindle.
Ohhhhhhhh, I'm so wanting a Kindle (see my sig!) - I've added one to a basket many times during the past year but have managed to talk myself out of it so far.
I'm sure I'd save money in the long run - I only buy books at the sm (usually when £3 or 2 for £7 etc) but they must all add up.
Unfortunately the library has changed it's hours and I can't go anymore (which probably means more books being bought):(.

Jinty - I've been watching the Food Hospital too - it's amazing what a change in diet can do and I'm loving the series! (and learning lots)
Kerri - hope you're having another lie in this morning - you deserve it after the week you've had!
Well, good news is that I'm back at work tomorrow:) (whether I'll still be saying that by tomorrow night is a different matter;)) but I just can't wait to get back to RL in RL!:D
I'm still struggling to get round a bit and can't walk far but sure I'll manage in the office - however, I will need to try to get in early to get a parking space:eek:. Once full (by around 8:15), the nearest long stay car park is a wee walk from the office & I don't think I'll make it that far.....
Anyway, couple of spendy days for meso no NSDs to add - will try hard for today and report back later!:)

Hi all! I'm declaring today my 12th NSD! And it will be the 8th in a row
I have literally spent just once this month! My haircut! Soooo chuffed!
Tomorrow I will likely spend.I am going to Liverpool one with my sister and I am in need of some new pajama's so I believe primani will be ventured in to at some point! I think my sister is a bad influence but I will be on my best behaviour and will hopefully stick to just 2 pairs and that's only if they have the type I like in stock!
I did have this week not in my list for NSDs as I am off on holiday and find work helps my to not spend so this week will be the biggest challenge for me.
Also tomorrow we are putting an offer in on a house! Fingers crossed they accept it - however its my parents that will be buying the house for me to rent so I hope all goes well. Ooooh I could nearly have a new homedead excited.
Hope everyone has a happy Sunday xCar Paid in full - 10/06/2016 :j0
