I do hope that woman finds her dog safe and well. Why the H**l can't they make these fireworks without the noise, there is absolutely no need for the loud bangs when they just need to make patterns in the sky.:mad::mad::mad:. Around here, probably everywhere else too, they always set off the loudest ones off late at night. They can't claim that they're for kids at 11pm and later. It's about time they either ban them or silence them.
Sorry about the rant.
No NSD for me today, went to Mr M with DH. Nuff said!S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50

Awwww (((hugs))), I've been wanting to ask for a couple of days but didn't want to upset you and have been wondering what was the best thing to do as I didn't want you to think I'd forgotten either IYKWIM.
Hope that makes some sort of sense - think I need to head off to bed as pretty tired. I had my own hefalump lab on the bed quivering most of last night after we had our own firework near miss (thankfully he was in the garden surrounded by a 6ft high fence all the way round at the time) so didn't really have a restful night!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Trying to get organised this year, taking DS2 up to Staffs Uni Open Day next weekend, then I'm having an op the next week, so will be out of action for at least a couple of weeks after that. So it's this weekend or never!!
Good luck with the op Keiss, i do hope it's nothing too serious?rising_from_the_ashes wrote: »Thanks all, he's still not home unfortunately.

Hope you enjoy your evening with your Dad and he appreciated the cooking.
I gather there was no fallout from your meeting with the Minister as you appear to still be employed
Aww thanks for asking Spoon, it seems the visit went really well actually, as i got an email on Friday saying she was really impressed, so i must have done something right!!
One more to report, taking me to 4 now please :j
Today was so nearly one, but i can feel a cold coming, so grabbed a bottle of lemonade, i know it's probably an old wives tale but my dad has always sworn by boiled lemonade to cure a cold & i just can't bring myself not to do it!!
Got some dishwasher tablets on offer in Mr M too, seeing as i was spending& i've put some milk money to one side for if i run out in the week, so reckon i can go for a good few days without spending now... fingers crossed!!

No nsd here (as suspected) the lovely chocolate shop was too much to resist, so DH gave me £5 pocket money, he hee, and I let him buy a coffee, then we went in £land and they had loads of great cds for a quid so we couldn't resist plus they had some bits for ds's for Christmas.
Hope the poor dog is found safe and well, poor thing, must be so scary for them, not knowing what all the loud noises are all about.Still keeping fingers crossed for you too LMH.
DH has just gone off to take one of the guinea pigs to the vet. He's not a very well little piggy and I don't think he'd have made it through the night here, hopefully they'll be able to do something for him. His little buddy is going frantic here, squeaking and 'cracking' like anything, going round and round in circles. I've given him a long cuddle but then he started making his wee noise so I put him back on the paper(!), he ran straight to the puddle where Darwin had wee'd and went mad squealing and sniffing at it.They were ds2s birthday present 2 years ago and it's his birthday on Tues so they're only 2 years old, so hope he pulls through and we're not telling him on his birthday that his favourite 'Pinny Pig' has died.
