I know just how Ambrose feels today!
It's started off badly here for me.
Annoyed about Ds2's Christmas present. I was watching one on Sunday that I tried bidding on but DHs phone lost signal through the Hindhead tunnel and didn't get it back for 20 miles which was too late as it had ended. My max bid would have been £34 and it went for £26 . The one that was on on Tues I lost out on as it went for over £40 and the one that finishes today is already at £35. Really annoyed at that.
Then last night I forgot to get the pushchair out of the car so DH has gone off to work with it. Luckily school is only at the end of the road so not far to carry DD but I needed to go in to book DS2 into after school club in a couple of weeks, I slipped up in the dinner hall and because I was holding DD couldn't balance myself, couldn't put my hands out to stop me falling, all I could do was try to twist myself to stop falling on her and protect her head. She was fine but now I have a twisted ankle, burned knee, bruised hip and elbow and a twisted back. Then had to go to dr (injured my other ankle a few months ago and it's still giving me grief), so had to carry DD on the bus, £3:eek::mad::eek::mad:. It's less than 5 minutes on the bus, I would normally walk as it's only 20 mins but can't do that carrying DD. I can't believe how expensive it is, if I'd had the car it would ahve cost about 20p in diesel, they don't exactly encourage people to use public transport at those prices.
I'm definitely going to be spending tomorrow and I doubt I can do a weekend at home without the boys without spending so Monday is going to be my 1st chance at an nsd. Rubbish.I'm the exact same! Weekdays are fine, its the weekends thats my problem. I used to go out all the time, everyweekend, borrow money from friends/family to fund my drinking, clubbing, taxi's, food during the weekend but ever since I got my own place last year i've become old before my time! lol, hardly been out lately.
Although this month is a bit hectic, This weekend I have a night out on Fri with my bestie who's had a hard time as late, the week after I have another night out in a different town with a different group of friends which has been planned for months. The week after my OH is dj'n in a nightclub but it is about 100 miles away, that includes petrol and hotel stay. Then the week after i'm going to visit friends for a long weekend but thats the other side of Scotland. Can't believe i've not done anything for nearly a year and this month is completely hectic! I've given myself a budget of £30 for this weekend and £30 for next weekend, fingers crossed I can stick to it!
Anyways i'm rambling, haha. Good luck to all x
You lucky thing, I honestly can't remember the last time I went out, no I can, that was a disaster! Hi Everyone
Been reading about NSD's for a while and finally decided to be brave and sign up for the challange! It will hopefully be a good way to try and keep a bit more motivated!
Have had two this week (though more by accident than anything else) so think I will try for 10 in November.

Spend day for me as I had to have our dog put to sleep. Feel really sad but I know I did the right thing for her, but that doesn't make it any easier.:(DFW Nerd 1394.
