    Good evening all!
It's been a very busy weekend here in IA-ville. Friday we didn't do much and mainly just pottered around the house due to it being cold and damp. DP stopped over friday/saturday night so we mainly just relaxed Friday night.
Saturday me, the girls and my best friend who is coming to Majorca with us went shopping with some birthday money that my dad had given Ash for her birthday to get some holiday clothes. We ended up spending 5 hours out and managed to get a few bits. I did spent £11 on mcdonalds and then £10 on pizza hut for me and DP, but I spent this out of the holiday fund so will replace this before we go away. :)

Our new 'accident' hetty hoover turned up yesterday too. Got the first chance to try it out today and it's actually brilliant! Really tough and has loads of power even on the 'low energy' setting. The floor hasn't looked so clean in a long time! Would definitely recommend it. Maybe the accident wasn't so bad after all :) Even K was hoovering up today and she loved it! Maybe I can get them to do more housework by buying everything in pink...

Today was 'family' day. We went round 3 lots of family for easter. The girls have ended up with 14 easter eggs at last count, and that's without me or DP buying them any! Shocking. Needless to say today they've been high on chocolate and haven't even gotten through a 1/4 of all of it yet!

Hope everyone has had a lovely easter!

Evening all! My god what a busy day. The joys of having a long weekend is that it all goes manic when you get back in to work..
Yesterday we just relaxed and didn't go anywhere. The weather was rubbish anyway so we just had a day at home.
Today was dance, and I paid for my team exam. I have decided to do the other two exams as well after going through the routines again tonight. I know it's an extra £17 but I think I'd be annoyed with myself if I didn't do it.

Tonight I spent £7.75 on normal dance classes, and £21.50 on the team exam. Oh and 98p for milk. lol.
I have done my new budgets for the week too.

Food £60.00 (kids back to school next week so expecting to spend all of this)
Petrol £20.00 (Have been good on fuel this week so planning on putting in less)
Social £0.00 (Nil as out for a meal..)
    Bills £211.02
Meal £20.00 (off out for a works meal and taking the kids, hence the £20.)
MOT £27.00 (Booked in for saturday. Keep your fingers crossed! I'm not expecting it to fail, but you never know....)
    Solo dance exams £17.00
    Dance £20.00

    Total out £375.02
    Total in £416.99

Surplus to be paid off the Bcard £41.97

I've also drafted some budgets for the weeks coming up (up until we go away). In these weeks I'm considering budgetting £30 to 'holiday stuff' (although not expecting to spend all of it, it just gives me a buffer) and £52.70 off the Bcard as of next week. It looks like this:

    Food £60.00
    Petrol £25.00
    Social £10.00
    Bills £0.00
    Dance £20.00
    Bcard £52.70
    Holiday stuff £30.00

    Total in/out £197.70

That'll mean up til we go away it'll be 3 x £52.70 off the card plus the £41.97 this week, so £200.07 off altogether. The budgets for the week we go away, I'm just leaving the money 'spare' for us to use on holiday/when we get back. It's going to be impossible to 'budget' for that week as we'll be out of the country so won't be needing food/petrol etc until the following week. Hoping to have some money leftover from it all anyway and will pay that off the card/catalogue when we get back :)

Not long to go now! Just have to get through the next few weeks which promise to be manic...

Morning! What a nice sunny day here (woohoo!).
Quick update while I'm having a tea break. Took the clothes to cash for clothes this morning and got £2.80. Not much but it all helps! Will pay it off the card when I get home...

Hope everyone has a good day!

As promised I've just paid the £2.80 off the card (and updated my sig.) Hardly seems worth it but I'm still £2.80 closer to being debt free!

Happy Thursday aka food shopping/updating budgets and generally being happy it's nearly the weekend daaaaaaay!

Have done my food shopping and put petrol in.

    Food shopping was
    £43.86 in Aldi
    £19.27 in Asda
    Total £63.13

Petrol was £20.01. Damn that penny! Gets me everytime. Didn't put my normal £25 in today as I was still above the red so going to see how I go on £20 (and a penny ).

The girls had some pocket money off their grandad so they bought a book each, but their books were paid for in full by the pocket money so I haven't included that in my spending diary.

So remaining budgets this week are, £27 for my MOT. £17 for my dance exam, £8 for dance lessons (presuming that K decides to do it, she possibly won't so that'll be £4 saved if not.), and £20 for work meal on monday. That left £33.08 leftover as I think I made a mistake on my previous budget which suggested I could pay £41.69 as I hadn't take into account money I'd already spent on my dance earlier in the week. Either way I've paid the £33.08 off the credit card and updated my signature :T
I was going to wait til after my MOT, but considering I'm hoping it'll pass, and even if it doesn't I'll have to pay for any extras on the card anyway I might as well save the interest and pay if off sooner.

Keep your fingers crossed for me people!

    Happy saturday all!

Not long back from dance so have updated my spending diary.
£4 on Dance (K still doesn't want to do it so they've taken her off the list so someone on the waiting list can start. What I've decided to do from next week until she finds something she does want to do, is to put the £4 I'd have spent on her aside so that they're still both being treated equally moneywise.)
    £17.50 on dance exams
£3.50 on a car wash with the money spare seeing as K didn't do dancing. A big smile and a cheeky flirt got me a £4 car wash for the £3.50 I had left in my purse :D I'm in sooo much trouble with DP :rotfl:

Today is MOT day  hence why I've given the car a good clean and taken it through the car wash. It may not make much difference to the mechanical condition, but maybe if it looks like it's looked after well they'll let me off minor faults :rotfl:

Will update later with how we got on. Have a good day in the sun all!

Woo car passed it's MOT :D This is exactly why I bought a newer car, to save the fortune I was having to spend on repairs on my previous older cars! :rotfl:
We did end up killing time in Maccys for lunch though, so spent £27.48 on the MOT and £15.15 on lunch. h and £5.99 on a bike pump for Ash's bike! Will make it up next week. :)

Evening all! Have had a very busy few days but thought I'd do a quick update before I go to bed.

Yesterday we went out for the work meal. Ended up spending £23 (£3 over budget) but me and the girls had a fab time. The girls were angels as well despite having to wait and hour and a half for their food! :)

Today I spent £2.20 on breakfast as a treat, £9 on dance (normal lesson plus the team) and £20 on petrol. I did originally only put £10 petrol in but it didn't register on the gauge for some reason until I put an extra £10 in! Wonder if the sensor needs cleaning or something. Although I knew I'd put £10 in, it was showing as running on fumes and I didn't trust it in case there'd been a problem with the pump so put the extra £10 in. Once I'd done that it showed fine so god knows.. bloody cars.

Was going to do my budgets but my card reader is playing up so couldn't log on. For some reason I couldn't log on via normal passcodes etc either as it didn't give me the option. Going to try and find my other card reader tomorrow or else will have to order a new one. Never mind!

Will update my budgets as soon as I'm able.

Hope everyone is well and enjoying their start to the week.

Only 20 sleeps until we're off to Majorca! Woooo!
