Woop! Did well in my food shop.
Out of a budget of £60 I spent:
£31.33 in Aldi
£16.62 in ASDA getting the things I couldn't get in Aldi
Total: £47.92 (surplus £12.05)
Also got petrol which was £25.
Have updated my spending diary and budgets. I've given up the spare money I had out of my social budget (£3 odd, as there's no point really. I'm not going to bother going to the bank and taking out £3 odd, so meh. I can't think of anything I'll want to spend it on anyway so it's better going off the credit card. That means I have £97.68 surplus out of my budgets, plus the £5.39 from Cash4clothes, so in all tomorrow I'm able to pay off £103.07 off the credit card! :j
That feels GREAT and is a big chunk off it.
I've also decided that after paying off CC1, I should pay off the BNPL on the catalogue before starting the CC2. If I get it done it's done then and I don't need to worry about it later. Yes I'm not paying any interest on it now but I'd rather get it out of the way so I can concentrate all of my efforts on CC2 which is obviously much larger...
The catalogue is only £363 (0% til May/June) anyway so won't take long to pay off. Especially at the rate I'm going ATM! :TTotal 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Happy friday the 13th!
Today has been a pretty good day in all. Our free lion king movie turned up so me and the girls are going to watch that tonight under a duvet
Nothing to add to the spending diary today, hurrah!
However I have had my car tax renewal notice through. Altogether now... BOOOOOO! Knew it was due this month or next. Bum. £63.25 by the end of the month. Good job there's no council tax this month so I'll still hopefully be able to pay off another chuck with surplus wages. Will be able to work it out properly once I receive my nursery/holiday club bills.
I've ALSO had a letter saying my eye test is overdue. DOUBLE BUM! I don't get free tests or lenses anymore so fread to think how much full price test/glasses is going to cost...
Will book it for sometime in february I think, seeing as I already have the dentist AND my youngest's birthday AND my car tax this month AND my driving licence renewal. Ouch!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Not sure if I've mentioned, but with my food shop I've gone back to meal planning which is DEFINITELY helping keep the food budget down. It's easily reduced my shop by £20-£30 a week combined with doing an Aldi/Asda combo.
This week we're having..
Cheese and tomato pasta (nom)
toad in the hole
cottage pie
Fish fingers in parsley sauce with chips/peas
Cheesy Ham omelettes
tuna mayo sweetcorn pasta (because my girls are OBSESSED by it.)
I've forgotten what the 7th day's meal was, as my girls have destroyed the bit of paper I wrote it on :rotfl:
and for those that know me from way back in the old days, yes, the sausage casserole is still a stapleTotal 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Ah the wonders of mobile internet. Currently sat avoiding people while the girls have their dance classes so to keep me occupied I thought I'd do a quick catch up post.
As it's my youngest's birthday so my dad has given me £35 to get something from him (he reckons he's useless at buying presents). £10 of that today was spent on dance leotards which she picked (bright red and girlie - of course..) So have £25 left to get her something else from him. Need to figure out what though!
Out of dance budget of £10 today we've spent £7.50 on dance lessons, and another 70p on a snack for them to share. I've got a spare £1 coin to go in the pot too! Woop! Will update sig when I get home.
Won't be spending anything else today as no budgets left to do so! If we do go out it might be to look for something for her birthday, but it's not til the end of the month so still have plenty of time.
Happy saturday all!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Ooh yay! Just logged into check my CeX trade account (need for speed) and apparently the processing is completed and payment should follow shortly. How quickly 'shortly' is is another question! :rotfl:
Least it's soon to be another £18 off the credit card thoughTotal 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

ANOTHER update. Was fiddling around with a few books I've got knocking around seeing if I could sell them online or trade them in.
Have managed to list 6 old books I've either read or don't need anymore with Amazon and providing they're all accepted should be £15.30 in amazon vouchers! Woo!
Not bad for half an hours work that! There was another trade in site call fatbrain.co.uk but you had to have at least £25 worth (which I didn't) so couldn't do it through them. Might be handy for others to check out though?Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
