Weekly Flylady Thread 31st October 2011

dishes washed, DD bathed, had her hair dried, clothes on, DS2 dressed and both ready for Storykeepers. OH decluttered to the bath before his disco tonight. Dancing stuff for both DD and DS2 looked out for tomorrow, Just need to sort out their snacks. I intend to do the livingroom once I drop the weans off and the house is empty.

Evening. I've still not managed all of today's list and don't think it'll happen anytime soon. DH is working in the attic so the trap door is open and boy is it cold!! Show's what a different the new insulation he put up there is making as it's been warm all week with no heating on and as soon as he opened the trap door we're all freezing! Only one thing for it and that is retire to bed with my kindle. Needs must as i'm refusing to put the heating on as we'll just lose it through the roof! I have managed the 'me' time though and shellaced my nails. Yeah xx

Before going to school this morning, I put a load of washing on, s+s'd the bathroom, hoovered and mopped through downstairs.

Came home, after popping to the shop and tried new (to us) frozen chinese type foods, rather than my original plan of going to the chinese or cooking from scratch....does that count?!?!?!?!

Planning to be busy tomorrow (after a lie in!!!) I have borrowed a steam cleaner from a friend and I want to try it on the tiles by the hob and the tiles in the bathroom, plus the fish tank needs a good scrub. I also want to strip the main bed (DD's was done last week.....is fortnightly ok???) and get some more of the spare room done........hhhmmmmmmmmm...........we'll see about all that!!!

DD off to the orthodontist at the hospital this morning. She has improved her dental hygiene enough to be allowed braces in 4 weeks. :j:


The bin men actually took the rubbish this fortnight. Strange how, now the rubbish is left for 14 days at a time, they just throw the bins across the garden when they've finished instead of putting them back neatly as before. Anyone would think that they hated emptying festering bags of cat litter.



But, as a new thing, we went to a new cafe/ice cream parlour/coffee bar type place that's opened round the corner for lunch. I'm sure a new place counts as much as a new food, doesn't it?

zzzzz flying wise I have..... on no wait I've not done any flying tonight BUT I have worked and completed my planning for school for next week!!

off to bed now vvvv sleepy and off to Mum and Dad's tomorrow so I need to sleep as it's a 2 and a half hour drive each way......

I have cleaned the Valli boudoir - I DESERVE a peacful (if lonely;)) haven and flung a body cream I have had hanging around and know I won't use. Bit of tidying/sorting and roundtuit work done (as in 'I'll shift that when I get a round tuit') and have listed more inks (printer inks) from work on fleabay (profits to work, I've now listed all the HP and have moved on to Epson) decluttering from work, money FOR work (less costs) - gets out SHINY HALO - The polish you use when you've been good
The towels have all been through the TD; I have done 1 lot of whites and have a load in.

Another one battling gremlins of MSE and ones of my own! every time I can post something, usually forum issues, get in the way!

This week has been relatively successful. Laundry is caught up with (feel like widow twanky) apart from drying which I'll finish tomorrow. Got my finances in order, know what I'm paying and when which was really important. Drastically reduced food waste. Started having a good clear out.

I'm maybe not as on track as I wanted but I'm pleased that things are going in the right direction. Puppy is doing well and only riddles on his pads/papers but the whole outside thing hasn't entirely clicked yet. Starting to be allowed properly outside now so hopefully it will. Luke is tolerating him but really jealous so having to make an even bigger effort.

Tomorrow boys are out, going to do 7.30 (or earlier depending when Diesel wakes) until 9.30 as housework, do about half an hour of vacuuming etc when I've dropped them off then out with friends for someone's birthday for a bit of lunch .... Well that's what I'm going to try anyway lol.

Next weeks challenges - boys room, my room and the play room. I need it safer, tidied and a boudoir like Valli's lol just fed up and want it sorting. Offered to have my friends kids at Christmas holidays for a few days including sleeping over to help them with childcare so need the space for the sofa beds
