Re mail order: they are currently trialling online ordering in Nottingham so hopefully will roll it out nationally soon.

Online sign-up is "coming soon". But you don't get a big Ikea catalogue sent to you, just "A free copy of IKEA LIVE magazine".
Somehow this link has got an extra bit added to it. This one should work.

I have an IKEA Home Card (their store card), and it also entitles me to free tea and coffee 7 DAYS A WEEK. I have checked this, and it is available in ALL of their UK stores!
I know store cards can be expensive, but the IKEA card is also the cheapest in the country at 12.9% APR so it’s actually cheaper than many credit cards out there. Not only that, but last year I got invites to about 7 or 8 exclusive events and got access to free products, prize draws, free meals and money off - Discount in IKEA!!!
I don't want to sound like an advert, but surely this is a great deal!0 -
I've got an ikea store card - for the free drinks - and my family card turned up in the post this week. Remember Ikea serve their 99p breakfast before the store opens - good to go with your free drink while you wait for them opening.0

I'm sorry - I think this is dangerous!
When was the last time you came out from an IKEA without more than you intended? From 200 tealights to a new bed, you always spend more than intended, no matter how a money saver you are!
IKEA are great on so many levels, but I think they are an evil enemy to those paying off debts and trying to minimise expenditure. If one goes in there for a free coffee you come out with a cupboard.
DON'T DO IT!0 -

I've been told by customer services that it's only available in 3 Ikea stores. That's us in Wales left out again then! We're always the last to get any new services, stock etc.
 I don't normally contribute to these forums, but I have to say that IKEA Cardiff launched the Family card, in line with the rest of the UK, on Valentine's day. You can sign up for one in the Family department located just before the customer restaurant.0
