Hi Happy , yes please if you could pm the letter0

After seeing this thread, I emailed Santander customer service on 4th December using the template kindly put on here....................... My loan was an old cahoot flexible loan taken out circa 2004.
Hi All, a NOTICE TO EVERYONE..........
I initially sent an email on 29/11, recieved the auto-reply, then another on the 1/12 advising that with the info I had provided they couldnt investigate my complaint. (I thought I had provided enough info, (im 99% sure I had)) so I called them on the 1st advising that their auto-reply advises against me sending data sensitive info, the guy advised that as long as i replied to complaints@santander.co.uk it would be fine and they would recieve my complaint. So I then replied, with the data they were requesting on 2/12. I again recieved the auto-reply. I have posted a few times, with people advising to be patient, and I accept that - until I seen the above post. So I decided to call them today, for an update just to see where things were. I was advised that no complaint had been recieved! The girl I spoke to this time, put me on hold and spoke to her supervisor. They could not see anything against my account. So she is going to pass my phone number onto another department and give me a call back.
So...............
to everyone, dont expect a resolution / response over a few days, thats not realistic, I think on average its between 2 and 3 weeks
However, I would certainly urge you to contact them to make sure they have recieved your complaint/communication and that it is being acted upon.
Does anyone have any idea how I should approach this now?
My concern is that, I have another payment due in a few days which will need to be paid - although from my view, what should be "returned" to me, would clear the account.
Whats should I do?0 -
sent my email 28th november, and received return email, not heard anything yet.
do you think that i should of heard by now?, and does anybody have a contact number to call
thanks

if you do call, they are quite strict with their security questions, so you will need to know all that info before they assist you0 -
got some good news today, received letter from santander, it looked like a standard letter at first, but then on page 2 they confirm they are making a good will payment of GBP 4,120.00, and enclosed a cheque for this amount.

Hi, I've got a question for those who've been given refunds so far, were you using the "flexible" feature of the loan, i.e. taking out some more money every so often, or did you just take out an initial amount and simply pay this back?
I submitted my claim last week and I'm just trying to weight up my chances!0 -

I used the flexible feature at the time when it was with Cahoot, yes.
I don't think it matters, for what it's worth.I was a DFW, now I'm a MFW :T0 -

Yes, both me and OH used it, but I'm not convinced they have the details of when and where funds were taken out etc
