  • Still waiting patiently here. Sent email Saturday 10th Dec got the standard reply but had nothing since. Seems strange some people get sorted out in a matter of days and others have to wait weeks but if we all get the same result at the end of the day then who cares :money:
  • I had flexiloan from 2002 that was 1k short of paying off
Email and letter to say that they are settleing the balance off and a cheque for £400 on its way , load amount was for 4k I think .. Result !
  • I mailed them at the CEO address 1/12/12 so looks like its taking average of 14 WORKING days ... Be patient guys
  • After seeing this thread, I emailed Santander customer service on 4th December using the template kindly put on here, with a few modifications (that I'm sure weren't necessary). I got the usual confirmation of receipt etc and rang today (16th December) to chase them up and was told the dispute had been resolved ( to the tune of over £3000 credited to the outstanding balance of my loan) and that a letter of confirmation was on it's way. My loan was an old cahoot flexible loan taken out circa 2004.
Without you guys posting things like this on the forum, I would never have done this and instead of being debt free in December 2011, it would be more like still in debt Dec 2013!
So big thank you to everyone on here- you guys ROCK!!
  • thank you a million mate i eventually got template from someone on the same subject emailed and within 3weeks l have got a reply offering me over £2000 which is being applied to my account leaving me with an outstanding balance of less that £300!

    thank you thank you!!:j
  • Hi, I took a loan out in 2004 for £1400 and paid it off in later 2006. I don't know if i will get anything. If anyone has a template for the request, could you pm it to me. Thanks for the heads up of the OP :)
  • I have a mate who is on a Dmp , is it worth him trying to claim back his money ?
I said that if he does that they might enforce him to pay the loan off!

    Any idea ?
  • Hi,

    Thanks
    Nick

I signed up to expedia's free 30 day trial, and got my number from their records.

  • Not sure why or even if they could, as if he has no money he cant pay. They could get a CCJ, but that's about it I guess.

How much do they owe on the loan? The interest might clear a fair bit
