Ah right - i'm quite close to you, so i know the weather has been bad on and off (tho yesterday was quite nice)
Was being a bit facetious with first comment as i figured you'd tried that or didn't have one.
I like the look of those heated airer thingies tho. How long does it take to dry a load?I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -

I often hang clothes on coathangers from my curtain rail in the bedroom with the window open. Even if it is raining this method gets the worst of the dampness out so that they can then finish off drying overnight.I am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order

I used to hang all of our washing on hangers in the doorways and open windows front and back. It's a nightmare drying washing inside though isn't it. We don't have a spare bedroom or a conservatory. All of our rooms are used and don't have anywhere in our house to put an airer up
. Now we use a tumble dryer. Couldn't do without it

Progress Report on Lakeland Dry Soon Heated 3 Tier Airer
Well Quilt on is headed towards the bone dry stage, towels are drying nicely. Feel tempted to put extra washing on to give it something to do. Plus I am going to log drying time: Time started, Time Finished in my Time Manager App on my Iphone!!! that way I have some idea of running cost. *All the same I am not complaining* this item with all it's faults and boy it has them! is so far an absolute freaking Godsend!!! Plus it is giving Living room traditionally a cold room (my flat our flats are cold in winter hot in summer) a lovely warmth. I might germinate seeds on it as one Lakeland Customer has done!!! (Lakeland are big enough to welcome Multi-Functionality in it's Products and list them, for that they should be very highly commended and it's OS!!!).#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

My drying costs currently are 5p per hour, or whatever time of day it is Tariff. In theory I should get this down to a mathematical tee. Still worth it.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

I hope you make the right and most convenient decision. I like to do things at home. Flat has lousy heaters that make me ill that I don't use. I have radiators instead (not on atm).
I have put behind me the days of sodding washing on my airer taking 7 days to dry and no bedding being able to be washed except in Spring and Summer Autumn months.
A little investment goes a long OS way and surely OS isn't about unnecessary deprivation in name of OS.
Surely OS is about abundance not deprivation, crafty effective moneysaving, not suffering.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

That Lakeland dryer is not available until November 24th.This is due to high demand.
