    Hi all,

I've been absent for a few days and it's taken ages to catch up - sounds like everyone is doing really well.

Just a word of warning for the roadkill contributions though - these make me giggle because a number of years ago I had a flatmate who spotted 50p on the pavement one day. She went to pick it up and had some trouble and heard laughing. It turned out some workmen had cemented it to the ground and were finding much amusement in all the passersby trying to get it! Always check for nearby scaffolding first!

I've not managed £10 everyday but I've not been trying too hard because I have managed a whopping £408 in Ebay sales. Had a few big ticket items, got more to put on but nothing like that value.

That paid for my road tax and the rest is going towards Christmas.:D

  • Not doing well with this at all, but I did receive a voucher from Holland & Barrett for £9.50 yesterday - from the points I have collected on spends earlier in the year. Not bad spent about £200 so that is not a bad amount back, I usually order from them once a year and buy enough to do the year as never get to any of their shops and don't want to pay postage and nowadays a friend asks me to buy for her when I do mine as I think you have to spend over £75 to get free postage. Only snag only got till Jan to use it and wasn't planning another shop with them till about May, but cost of parking in town to go and use it would outweigh the voucher, so unless I find I can get there soon its likely to not be used grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Need to get back to getting finances under control now kin kid at uni as savings are zilch

I've been 'had' a couple of times before by tricks like this, so now, whenever I see money on the floor I kick it gently first when I walk, if it flies off I grab it but if its stuck I walk on and don't look silly! Once bitten, twice shy!

I've been ordering paper ones. Greyhound Angel eventually got her electronic one. email them again hun, just tell them you are very concerned. they should have a record of the code you have been given and if it has been used.

I've emailed them back saying well have you no records of my claim and code? so hopefully they will get back to me. Just went onto facebook page and complained on their too - looks like plenty of people still waiting for amazon ones so hopefully they will do something!

Sorry for being a grump this morning that really peed me off - no sorry no nothing just all vouchers have been sent  and breathe............ LOL!

On the positive side i just claimed a £20 voucher from shop and scan :) am going to write it down now when i claimed it 'just in case' :)

Actually i think i will start a wee page in my diary to record all claims now cos i'm at that stage now where there are quite a few and am losing track.

Oh maybe the postman knew i needed cheering up he just delivered my free sample of baileys :rotfl: is it too early to start drinking it yet? :D

If your voucher is not personalised you could always sell it on ebay :)
