  • Evening all!!

Haven't been on for a couple of days and had 7 pages to catch up on!!:eek:

Well done to all those who have met targets already. Please motivate me too! ;)

Someone (sorry but i can't remember who and my multi quotes haven't worked for some reason) mentioned about computers for a 7 year old. My eldest got a laptop in May for her birthday. Only got her it as she started comprehensive in September. I can honestly say she uses it every night for various bits of homework. My middle one is now asking for one, she is 8. I've told her that she will get one the year she starts comprehensive like my eldest did. I think this is soon enough in my opinion, and if she wants to go on my laptop thats fine as long as i know which sites she is on. Just my opinion.... :o

Finally totted up my ebay sales from the weekend. £81.19 after fees and postage! :T:T:T Will update my sig.

The reason i haven't been online is i got the chance to do 12 hour shifts this week. I normally only work 3 hours a night (for health reasons) but i'm really skint so it had to be done. I've got one more to do tomorrow. I'm exhausted, i've got a water infection and my lung is playing up but i promised my hubby i would rest over the weekend. I would LOVE to work full time, i really would, but my body just can't take it. It really gets to me sometimes, i'm only 29! I should be working 50 hours a week!:o Will be getting the extra cash at the weekend hopefully so will be able to add that soon. Also did a MS job, will not count it till i get paid. I'm due a couple of payouts around the 15th i think. I only started doing them a couple of months ago and i must admit i rather enjoy it.

Got a load of stuff to get on ebay, but i simply haven't had the time. Also got to decorate my front room which i've had the paint for for ages. I need more hours in the day!

I'm rambling on about nothing now so off to update my sig.

Hugs chuck, if you can't do it you can't do it and that's it, health comes first, always missy! Lecture over :D
ps if it makes you feel better last Christmas I decided I could hack a Christmas job as well as my normal job and I ended up doing more hours at my second job then my first Nov to Feb. I was absolutely knackered, the kids hardly saw me cos I worked 7-2.30 at my first job, then straight to pick kids up, got in house at 3.30 ish and had to get changed, cook and eat tea and get back out at 4.30 when DH came in, then didn't get home till 1am, up again at 6am etc etc. DH eventually admitted to me that my youngest cried every night at bed time and wouldn't settle, and that he himself had started missing me cos his nights were lonely. Wasn't worth the £4 an hour I brought home from my min wage after basic rate tax. So moral of the story, it's not all it's cracked up to be and you're not missing anything :o

You're best sticking to the stuff you can manage ie ebaying and surveys. Soz, I sound like I'm mothering you now lol. Hope it makes you feel better :o

    xx
  • As if you just nearly meade me cry sweets! :o:o:o

Thats like me at the minute, only i don't even get to pick the kids up from school and because they have a routine i've only seen them for about an hour a day, which has been the morning school run and ten minutes before bed. I normally get to see them 3.30pm til 4.30pm (this is when i go to my "normal" job) and i HATE working on a night because i just miss them. But until i can find a job which will give me 16 hours a day through the day rather than a night i can't leave. Plus i get a decent hourly rate in my opinion (£7.05) and i simply can't afford to just quit. I keep telling myself something will come along soon! :rotfl: I could go on the sick if i wanted to, no problem at all according to my doc, but i have my own self worth to think about if you know what i mean, and while i can work i will.

Sorry for moaning.... I know there are people out there who are desparate for work so i should think myself lucky. But sometimes our own problems can feel like the end of the world, no matter how trivial. :rotfl:

    Thanks for caring tho :A

    Hey Money makers ;)

Had a payment today for £24 today which was a suprise, because i assumed payment would take a few days, this was for ms work done, expecting another £5 off one company, £10 of one and £36 off another and over the weekend i'm going to put a jacket on ebay, ben sherman puffer, i think its about the right time now, did'nt really want to put it on my business account, but since ebay have banned my personal account and i have a target this month to meet, needs must and it will hpefully only be for a few days, it cost £100 and was worn about 10 times, what you guys reckon i should start bidding at?

Also have £9.97 to come from quidco whenever their next payment run is and £48.00 to come from a business expense reimbursement, so i have another £110 of planned payments this month all owed to me, so just going to try and push for the last £25 and try and make a bit more, hopefully with a little help from ebay and anyting else i can think of.
