little sleep had - caught up on missing hours from last night :) and burning feeling gone for mo - so result!

now just gotta make a little shopping list and get myself to the shops for some basics :)....do quite well out of using up everything in the fridge... inventive ;)

tempted to use cc vouchers so it'd be a sort of NSD - but know I could get more value from them via rewards - so i'll hold off for now :)

hope you all had a good day xx

    Evening all.
Everyone is doing so well and the thread is moving fast. I have had a good couple of days with £20 in vochers from V*lued O*inions. These came withen about 10 days of ordering.

£37 in vouchers from MrT's. Bought myself and OH a coat each by doubling up £15 in vouchers and using a £5 coupon from the sun and a £4 of clothing coupon, so 2 coats cost me £1 in cash + £15 in vouchers well pleased. Has anyone had their paypal voucher yet from the gumtree offer?
I think we were supposed to get it today.
    Fairy I am still doing 10 positive things a daya d up to 730 on S*ag B*cks ;)

    Hey Everyone,

Well I went to the boots Xmas shopping event again :D. I had two vouchers from last time that were worth an extra 500 points on top of the 1200 :D points for every £50 spent. I spent £101.42 (split into two lots), and got £34 worth of points back from it :j. I also got two No 7 goody bags (the ones you get when you spend over £22), was really impressed that I got one of them as I bought two No 7 gift sets... so got a third gift free... plus the goody bag... plus a load of points!!! :money: I've now got over £60 of points, but not adding until I've spent them.

Also bought a few bits from Matalan so have £2.90 student discount to add.

Ooh, and a friend gave us a pair of brand new M&S school trousers for DS1 - she had bought them for her nephew but didn't get around to giving them to him until they were too small for him :rotfl: I had to buy some anyway, so I'm adding the £6 that I would have spent.

I'm sure there was something else I wanted to say, but I can't remember what, will nip back later if/when I remember!

    (£61.15/£300)

    Evening all :hello:

In a mega good mood as just received the Christmas rota for overtime and me and DH have got about £500 bring home wage between 24-30 Dec :D:D:D  Fab or what, I'm right chuffed lol. (This is on normal pay wage which we get every weekend for the overtime, not accounted for any enhanced rates for bank hol's etc so will hopefully be even more :D ) ew ew, eta - it also includes some standby payments but obv if we get called we earn hourly wage too.

We'll get that money in January pay so will be able to pay it straight off our family holiday for next year, the balance is about £664 after we paid the deposit and despite my best efforts (keep earning it then having to use it cos we're skint :o ) I've not managed to pay any extra off it since we booked. I've also told the lass who does the rota's that we can do some other shifts in December, so hopefully when she sends us that through as well we'll be able to cover the whole £664 balance  woop!

Woo, worn my little self out with all the big grins and the beer drinking :D  Amazing who anytime I get financial news of any kind first thing I can think of doing is coming on here, don't think anyone else 'gets it' like you lot do :o

    xx
