Did you see this weeks episode of The Food Hospital I think on channel 4? They changed a lady's diet who had acid reflux and it became a lot better, almost gone. I suffer with it too, no idea why, I even get it when I drink water! Heard its linked to obesity and I am a bit porky...:o
that's interesting. My manager suffers from it, and she is quite portly.0 -

I take Omeprazole (think that's how you spell it) only been on it a couple of weeks - not sure it works tbh.. from the other symptoms I've got
pins and needles in right side under rib cage sometimes
stomach ache after ibuprofen
hunger when not hungry
nausea after drinking cold water
I think I might have an ulcer...
from what I can tell - doctors give you tablets - if it goes away great - if it doesn't THEN they investigatenothing like being a guinea pig eh?
x
eek! hmm maybe you should try calling Nhsdirect and see what they recommend! or try visiting their site.0 -
Electric_comperella - Omeprazole is usually given to people with ulcers. That or Lansoprazole. Doc might try switching your meds before sending you for a scope to confirm presence of an ulcer.

Morning all, no total update yet, my Paypal money has cleared into my bank but I haven't worked out how much of it belongs to other people for their items I've sold (minus my commission of course).
I'm in work on my own today so I made sure to clear my in tray yesterday so I've only got new work to do today as it comes in. And it doesn't seem to be coming in just yet, so I'm going to have a massive Toluna/Mysurvey/VO/Maximiles catch up and perhaps write a blog entry. Any other ideas for things I can do at work?I like to make money
Best wins: £3,000 luxury holiday, holiday in Cornwall, £250 Murad Skincare hamper, angle grinder
:j Make £10 a day challenger - it pays for trips to Florida! :j

7 seems a bit young to have an "online presence"....I know I'm the paranoid sort - but I'd be worried about DD publishing blogs online...stranger danger and all that...might be worth having a good look around the site yourself hun - make sure it is all above board xxI think it is good they are being taught how to create blogs but yes I would worry about them publishing for it to be out in the virtual world!
It's one of those 'virtual learning platform' things, so it's only accessible by the kids, teachers and parents. It's quite a nice little site so I'm happy for him to go on there, and luckily he doesn't know what facebook is yet (I don't use any sites like that)... he knows what MSE is though, he always says, 'it's where you go to make lots of pennies' :rotfl:0 -
