got my long awaited £20 markys voucher to-day from mcains

don,t know weither to add this or not as not real money for bank acc

we are all adding ours, as it is "money" that we would use for something. Ie I am using mine for xmas pressies, it is much needed money saved on actually buying the vouchers.
  • Hello!

No money-making today but just wondered if anyone is having trouble on e-bay? (or knows why I am)??

I can sign in ok and then look at things to buy but when I try and list an item it asks me sign in again but when I try to, it just shows the same (sign-in) page again, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

    Help please!!

Oh and voted for you too fairy - good luck!

Hi Nicky Noo Na. Which web browser are you using? I have the same problem with Safari because of the cookies but i don't have the problem with internet explora. I'm not very computer savy but apparently if your using Safari you need to enable cookies for ebay (or something like that :o). My hubby STILL hasn't done it for me, so i just use internet explora. Hope that makes sense?? Sorry if it doesn't, :rotfl:

Too tired from work to add my totals up from ebay so will do it tomorrow. Doing an MS job tomorrow. Its at a shop on my way to work and i get £14 for doing it. I love jobs like that that just need doing ten minutes before work,

Monkeynut - Thanks so much for the tip on scheduled listings! I did not know that and that is a big help.

Aesop - I have put a starting price of 99p on all the kids clothing. I try and do it in small bundles (eg. jeans and jumper in 1 listing, 4 long sleeved tops in another, 2 pairs of lined trousers in another etc etc), as when you take postage into consideration people may not want to spend 3.00 on just a second hand t shirt. So, I have found that by bundling bits together it cancels out the postage more and makes it seem a better deal to the buyer. I generally have a 99p start because I am happy to take anything that I can get, even if that is only 99p.

I have discovered that Next items sell well, mothercare stuff does OK too. I caught on to that one and paired up next jeans with say a cherokee (tesco) top in a listing as next gets more views than cherokee and listing the top on its own may not sell. I am sure this is not new news to you guys on here but I finally figured it out!!

Edit to add - Nicky Noo Naa I have had the exact same problem with Ebay and it drove me crazy! Went onto the ebay board for advice. I use firefox and was told to clear all my cookies and caches from the browser history (orange box at top left hand corner of screen if you happen to be on the same) and then I tried again and it sorted out.
  • Need to get myself more organised lol

Excellent news. Glad they have been helpful for you rather than the usual horror stories you hear about banks.

Grrr, I have 79,848 points on Toluna, but have done all of the polls already. Are there any other ways on there to earn instant points?!? got a few surveys waiting to be credited but it's frustrating knowing I'm that close to redeeming. Even though it does take an age to get the vouchers through!!
