    Day 1

Parking - found on street parking space £2.10
    Tesco price comparison .42
3 items found cheaper in other shops £2.00, £1.01,£2.00
    2 planters reduced from £9.99 each £14.00

    Total for the day £21.53

So now I just need to take it out of my purse and save it - but is it really upping my income by £10 per day?????

    Not really - is it????

It's up to you how you do the challenge - some people count savings as it's extra money that they wouldn't otherwise have had, while others only count money that they actually make - i.e, earn/find/win/are given/etc.
We've all got our own different 'rules' - For example, I won't usually count reduced or BOGOF goods as I always look out for bargains and probably would have bought them anyway, but I will count things like coupons and discounts as I would have gone out of my way to find them, iyswim.

Just checked my bank account and found 29p interest :D

why don't you have a read of the first page and see if there is anything there you don't already do, that you maybe interested in and give it a go. then you will find you are increasing your income by x amount per day. :)
  • I am having a really slow start to the month. I have lost all motivation for ebay and surveys. My job is demanding a lot of hours right now and Im working what feels like a lot of overtime without being paid any extra and I get home from work and want to sleep! However I know I must keep going. Having this £10 a day challenge is spurring me on to put in half an hour a night into making extra money. Hopefully this weekend I can find my ebay motivation again!!

So I have: £3 from a survey and £5 halifax reward which I have paid straight off my credit card. Every little helps!!
    Make £5 a day in May £51.05/£155
  • £11.30 so far, surveys and halifax account payments.

I have 6p to add :) I bought two little notepads on ebay for 6p each (when I was on my mission to get my feedback up on the new account), one of them didn't turn up so I emailed them about it. They didn't seem to know what I was talking about as they barely spoke English, but refunded me anyway. They then refunded me for the second one! Sent an email to them but they just said something along the lines of, 'I hope you enjoy your refund!'
