2 faulty laptops

You purchased a refurbished one so all they owe you is a refurbished machine of similar spec or your money back.
I don't agree.
They sold me a working machine of a certain spec. They've shown (twice) that they're unable to give me a working refurbished laptop so the next option is a new and unused one. That would fulfil their contract. Why is it so difficult to understand that fulfilling a contract is exclusive of the price paid?
There is a 'loss of bargain' argument here and PC World do know about this. I'm aware of many people who received an iPad 2 or similar tablet when PC World took payment (and sometimes attempted delivery) of a HP Touchpad. The price does not come into it, they have to supply a similar or higher spec product.0 -
