dont you just love em ryanair, just been on a £8.42 return flight, a great service, on time, cant fault them, i have more booked, used BA, easyjet thomson fly,go, iberia, hardly a difference between them

i go along with o learys mantra that getting such prices for flights you cannot expect ryaniar to pull out the red carpet and spoon feed you until you return home if things go wrong

i have been let down by them...just give a little thought to what would happen if the worst happened and you are stranded abroad and make sure you have enough money etc

i have always belived the ryanair knockers are those who have no need for their service and its more easier to use another airline or are closer to a non ryanair airport

if there was a direct comparisson of same departure airport, same arrival airport, same times

who would pay at least a third more to fly with another airline

not me,but then im honest!

great site with feedback and info from other travellers - have used it several times myself and always had bargain places to stay that have been ex value and would be worth recommending - better than dragging around with the rough guide when you get there!!

i still can't get any stansted flights to come up that don't include taxes - tried ring ryanair who said they couldn't comment on the web promotion as they were a diff dept????!!!
have tried all sorts of diff combinations including booking 1 flight at a time and made sure i used the right page to book but the taxes always come up anyone got any ideas?
Please help as we'd like a couple of cheap days away in March!:rotfl:

You will get taxes added. The total cost is pegged at a tenner EW. You need to find the 1p flights for this.

Have a look at the "free Barcelona loophole" thread started by TBecket100.
Spend a bit of time, do your homework and you could end up with a "Free" stay in a nice 4/5 star

Hi thanks for your reply - found the 1p flights from Stansted - Alghero but the taxes knock it up to nearly £35 pp as below

realise this is still cheap but also need to get from Cornwall to Stansted which isn't part of their offer so it starts to get expensive! i.e £88 from Newquay to Stansted (and an overnight stay in the airport mmm lovely!!)

maybe i can't avoid the outward tax on this one- any ideas?

True, you can be lucky, especially if you travel without luggage - in fact with Ryanair you are well advised to always travel without it, as Michael Coulston's site demonstrates amply.
