I went away at the weekend on a fligt with ryanair it was very smooth worth every penny and the only extra I paid was £1.80 for a cuppa.,
£2.84 for us both althogether I really couldn't complain and no bag check in(to avoid the charge) so just walked out quitely and quickly.0 -
Good luck to all of you booking with Ryanair.
No way I will be flying with them again. Flown with them twice. The first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt, the second time was the worst flying experience I have ever had. Never had any such problems with a variety of other discout carriers such as Easyjet, WizzAir, Air Asia etc.
If you want to develop a serious hatred of all things Irish, I suggest you try having something going wrong with your flight or booking and have to phone the Ryanair customer services.
This is a false economy if ever there was one and I am disgusted this pathetic excuse for an airline is being promoted by Martin and this website.
Fly with someone else! Anyone else!!!!!0 -
flying to Europe for a tenner and back for 6 and a half a false economy ? You and a handfull of others out of 45 million passengers had a "bad experience".
Stuff the other 44million and 999 thousand happy ones. Lets shut them down. Hasnt been the same since the good ol days when BA could charge £500 for a round trip to Biarritz .The champers was always just right in those days.
Moneysaving Pha-who needs it ? If this Michael Oleary and Martin Lewis have their way, god forbid, even the poor will be able to have a holiday.0 -

If you haven't 'enjoyed' their service yet I'd advise you at least scan the web for some background on them first - there's plenty out there. If you have flown with them and are happy all I can say is they're fine (well, nasty but fine) until things go wrong, and then they leave you for dead.
Not a company where customer service is in the dictionary. Unlike some of their competitors (Easyjet and Flybe, for example).
¹ Well, within reason of course :-)
I totally agree with your comments. Ryanair will leave you in the lurch with a smile!0 -
seems funny to me...2 posters and its the first post slagging off Ryanair.
Work for easyjet?

Quit having a pop at Martin - he's not 'promoting' Ryanair. He's doing what he does best.... point out bargains. It's up to us whether we choose to act on them.

Thanks for this tip, Martin!
I've just booked a 2 night break to Barcelona in March for myself and my partner for a meagre £33!
I had to fish about for a while, finding a suitable destination (luckily we had a number of places we wanted to visit) and an appropriately suitable airport, in conjunction with the dates that we were able to travel.
You'll all have to be quick though - the flights were disappearing before my eyes before I could book them in some cases!
Don't overlook the smaller airports - did you know you can get to Barcelona from Blackpool?
Now all I've gott do is find some nice, clan and cheap accommodation... Hmmmm, anyone got any ideas?
Good luck all!

From the Ryanair English dictionary:MSE_Martin wrote:In a protest against Brown's increased taxes on flying…protest
n.- A regular cheap-flight marketing promotion that happens to mention the Chancellor and where, when all the extras are added in, Ryanair still turns a profit.

That seems to be an intelligent, rational thought process. Are you Bernard Manning's son? 0 -
I can't seem to get through to ryanair's website this morning, oddOrder of events: Banks lose our money -> get bailed out -> were inflating GBP to cover it -> now taxing us -> next will grab your funds direct -> things get really desperate to balance the books. What should have happened?: banks go bust and we lost our money much quicker0
