Glad you asked as I was going to post this warning to others tonight anyway.
I wanted an electric blanket and exchanged my vouchers online for a small domestic appliances evoucher.
However, when I tried to place my order it would not accept it.
It turns out that the brand I want is actually under 'Home' and Bedding. They do have different ones under 'Small domestic appliances'.
So in answer to your question - it depends which brand you are after.
I phoned clubcard up but they said they were unable to help and basically I am stuck with the voucher as it cannot be changed, or the points put back on my account. There is nothing else I want and don't want to buy something 'just for the sake of spending it'.
They gave me an email address to try customer relations but it has been returned to me today. Absolutely useless!
I think I'm going to try emailing Head Office instead. Does anyone have the email address please?0 -

This is a valid email address where someone does respond to your comments, even f it does not fix anything necessarily.

Stryder, Is this the HO one? I know the CEO one gets mentioned quite alot on here but wanted to get in touch with HO, not necessarily the big chief himself.
Thanks:)0 -

I chose my iron, exchanged £50 of Tesco Clubcard vouchers for £100 of e-vouchers and ordered the iron. Ok so far so good...! Payment....I was only allowed to use £80 worth of my e-vouchers because the vouchers were in £20 denominations and the iron was £99.97 and guess what....Tesco won't give me 3p change!! I rang Customer services & a very apologetic advisor told me that you have to spend the exact amount or more, but definitely not less!! I said that I didn't particularly want the 3p back, they could keep it, but even after speaking to his supervisor, I still couldn't use my last £20 e-voucher. I paid the outstanding amount of £19.97 on my debit card and I'm now left with a £20 voucher to spend on Small Electricals...but I don't want anymore Small Electricals!! Aaaarrrggghh!
I'll be leaving feedback on the Tesco site as the confirmation email I received AFTER I'd chosen the amount of Clubcard vouchers I wanted to exchange was the only place that states that the cost of the item you're purchasing must equal or exceed the value of the e-voucher. Too late then!
This happened to me earlier in the year when buying ipods for DD and DS. I ordered a small item to take me over the cost of the ipod and then took it back. Won't help you, but might help others.0
